Can I just say that I fully trust your opinions. It's nice not hearing "use my code, #sponsored, etc" on everything. The amount of product reviews in this ONE video is sooo appreciated. Thank you!!
😊♥️
Face wipes!!! I swore by them and have since stopped using them! Double wash is what it’s all about.
I have to say the BIGGEST THANK YOU to you Abbey! I ordered the Tanologist from Target based on your recommendation and it's nothing short of amazing. I also got the tanning mit kit from Amazon and lovvveee that mit because it has an elastic bottom so it doesn't slide off....it's all about the details lol. The application was super easy and the smell was not as strong as others. Plus it's freaking clear so I could go about my day. The BEST part is that after 6 hours I took a shower and the smell is gone....literally GONE. I am so freaking happy you shared this gem and now I can have a nice glow without the hassle and smell. I am 45 and have had a few skin cancers removed so mama does not do the sun anymore but I want to have a nice glow/tan. This formula met and exceeded my self tanner needs. Thank you again.
Omg the Jergens looked yellow on me but I feel my options were so limited back 10 years ago. Once I was at the doctor and she was trying diagnose and she says “i am noting your skin color is very yellow” when she was evaluating me. I was like ..that’s my self tanner!! 🤦🏼♀️ needless to say that confirmed my suspicion that I looked yellow! lol we have so many options now
I use the L’Oréal brand. It has similar packaging. It goes on so much better. It makes your skin so soft. It’s not as thick as the Jergens. I tried Jergens and did not like it at all. People always comment on my tan. They can’t believe it’s from a bottle. I buy my on Amazon
So proud of you, girl! I remember beginning to watch you around the time you first started and in the blink of an eye, you are at 141k. I remember just a few weeks ago when you hit 100k! Keep it up!
I have always used generic Vaseline to remove my eye makeup - I mean, forever! Works great, dirt cheap, and conditions my lashes!
Love that tarte juicy palette, just beautiful for the summer.
Would a part two, especially for more skincare and hair care!
I do appreciate all the work you put into your videos, Abbey. The time stamps for EVERYthing are ‘chef’s kiss’!!!!
I love the Garnier micellar water for makeup remover. Works great on waterproof mascara too!
Love this vid! Part 2… and 3,4,5 please! And SUCH a great point about the cleanser - never thought of it that way.
As I bought the Jergens self-tanner today lol! I like it but understand not for everyone! I completely agree about SPF as primer, I can't be bothered with any other form. Cool video!
I love DRMTLGY. The Peptide cream is so nice. I also love the Neutrogena fragrance free body oil for my first cleanse sometimes. Dr. Dray recommends it too. 😃❤️ Yay for inexpensive skin care dupes!
Both are so good!
I learned about using the Neutrogena oil as a first cleanse from Dr. Dray, too.
Your mom is a savvy lady, Abbey!
Oh My Goodness I love seeing how we've progressed..I found myself saying "I used to use that too" and now I don't. Would love more like this
Part 2 please! I loved this!
Hi Abbey. I also had acne in my 20s and was prescribed Retin-A, and told to use it forever. I listened, and now, at 62, I don't have wrinkles, except for a few crow's feet.
Products that I purchased religiously and don't, one being the Bare Minerals powder foundation. It got everywhere, but for some reason, I really liked it. Cetaphil cleanser was another. It never really got my face clean. I too, ran the gamut of self tanners. The one I'm loving now is a dry oil by James Read. I used to only use the Bare Minerals self tanner, that never fully dried and got on everything.
Great topic for a video. Would definitely love to see a 2nd part! ❤
Hydrocolloid patches are such a game changer! I enjoyed these little product glow ups!
Also re: the Cotz primer, their SPF 35 lightly tinted is almost the exact same thing as their prime and protect, so it's a good shade option for people who want a tinted primer that's a little lighter! I wish they'd extend the range for deeper tones, though.
Very informative and fun video. Do a part 2! I really love how you provide cheaper alternatives for things, if the product is good then it is celebrated! I feel like so many people on UA-cam only promote expensive products. You're a breath of fresh air 😊
Yes do a part 2!
Thank you for the great tips Abbey!!
I just tried the mighty patch for the first time yesterday and CANNOT believe it! Such a great rec!
I bought that Tarte Juicy palette after watching your video, and am so happy with it!
You are absolutely amazing. What stores do you usually do your grocery shopping at? Do you ever stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? It would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
LOVE the ABH Dup, thank YOU
Loved this video! A new (to me) concept...pls, pls do another...you're great!
This needs to be a series
I'd love a part 2!
The mighty patches are THE BEST!!! Love batiste dry shampoo too.
This is why I love this channel thank you so much 🌻🌻🌻
LOVE this video idea I've never seen it before please do more
I love the mighty patches! They are life savers, my fiancé and I both use them on blemishes and work great! Great video and helpful!
They don't seem to work for me any tips
@@stephanied6711 clean and toned skin. Leave it on for as long as possible. If there is a whitehead, usually it just needs a good face wash and the blemish is gone. Though I have had stronger ones that I wear them two nights in a row. If it’s still looks red, then try again after another cleanse. Honestly trial and error!
Thank you for sharing all the information that you do research on. This is a great video
Definicils mascara was my HG, so I got tons of travel size Lancome makeup remover. I have since switched up to drug store on both of these. Also try my best to only buy cruelty free. This was a great video. Yes to more of these. 💖💖
I’ve been using Bastiste dry shampoo for about a year, but never knew its true potential until I started washing my hair less frequently thanks to your videos on hair care. Now I love my long thin hair (which doesn’t look thin anymore). I literally look in the mirror and am like shocked at the volume. Gotta try to Arches and Halos next. Love your wonderful advice and help. I look forward to every video.
This was such a fun video. I’d love to see more. I also used to use the Jergens tanning lotion 🍊 🍊 🍊 🤦♀️
Abbey! Omg that Jergens! Also used to use the in-shower one. No more! I am a Bali Body convert thanks to you! It’s amazing. I’m basically at the point where if you highly recommend it, I’m buyin…
I would agree on the Crest white strips. They damaged my enamel terribly. They even made them somewhat translucent in color on the tips.
YESSS THIS WAS SOOOOO HELPFUL!!! THANK YOU!!! HAPPY SUMMER!!!🌞🍹🍍🍉🌺🌴💕
Ahhh I love this video!!! Same with the Lancôme 😂 I also always was spilling it!
Thank you Abbey! Have a beautiful day 🥳 ❤️ ☀️
You too ♥️
You should try Karity brand eyeshadow. You will be OBSESSED!
HERE IS YOUR REMINDER: You Are Beautiful, Loved & Worthy💗
~Love From Another Lifestyle Vlogger🌿🌸
I love you 😍😍❤❤👑
I love a good oil cleanse as a first step! The Neutrogena one is great for body sunscreen. The best facial oil is the Hada labo one. Dr Dray recommends it and I haven't looked back.
I just found your channel through a dupe video, I really like your videos and your insights on products, you are very inspiring! ✨ Greetings from Finland! 🇫🇮😊
16:45 “Are you sure about that?” 🤣 Exactly what I was thinking when you said the dry shampoo gave you amazing volume! ☺️ But on a more positive note, I’ve been taking sooo many notes on your recommendations in several videos. Thank-you for your videos! Can’t wait to try many of your recommendations! 🌸🌸🌸
Yes I would like to see more beauty products that you now substitute with.
You are so right about the Morphe palettes consistency I noticed that too, THE smell however, is from the plastic low grade palette, not the actual eyeshadows. I've removed some of the shadows to put in a zpalette and the smell is not there.
I am so glad you said that re morphe eye shadows. They have a big sale. I was so tempted, but I have soooooo many palettes
I definitely had the same experience with benzoyl peroxide spot treatments!
That Jergen's OMG THE SMELL!!!!!! Yes I love your videos like this.
I find the It cosmetics confidence in a cream is the one moisturizer that leaves my skin really plump and moisturized in the morning. A tall order in a high altitude desert! I've been trying so many that just don't do enough, leave my skin feeling dry in the morning. But I would like to find something as nourishing that's fragrance free, when my skin is sensitized it can burn a bit.
Please do a part 2!
Yes- please do part 2 on 10 things you no longer use,😊🌈🦋💫🌻💫
You also need to fix in the description box for the Tartelette Juicy palette. I have In Bloom and that is my everyday neutral eyeshadow palette.
I agree with you on the It cream. It stings my eyes and irritates my skin. The Elf hydration moisturizing cream was a good replacement for me. It had ceramides and peptides and has the same consistently as the It cream and my skin loves it.
I know you mostly do skincare now but I’d love to see some more makeup too, especially now being vaccinated and not needing a mask most places, I’m really getting back into makeup again. Still into skincare too but definitely getting back into makeup again. I’d love a few more videos with a makeup focus if that’s at all possible
Ew
I love this video!! Also, what lip color are you wearing? It’s beautiful!
I loved this video!
I love that confidence cream. It’s so nice going on . But will def try drmtology cuz I want to get away from fragrance too
I e had the same experience with Benzoyl Peroxide. I just usually use a dab of salicylic acid but have used the ‘stickers’ too.
I started using the DRMTLGY Night Cream a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it.
Yay!!
I used to use the jergens face tan moisturizer. I think it probably made me orange too 😆
😂😂😂
You got me at who needs 7 Morphe eyeshadows??? Subscribed, liked, bell, all of it!!!
Love Arches and Halos
Let's do part 2, it is fun!
That's a great wall color, do you mind sharing with me the name and manufacture?
I use micellar water and Cetaphil moisturizing cream as a makeup remover.
Abbey - Do you have a video on the skincare brand Alastin? I'm looking at their eye cream
I like using the K beauty style ideas because I'm half Korean and it's our families' secrets over many years that now hit the mainstream markets. Abbey, we use rice water as a toner not so much for hair although I know people used it for that my mom taught me that we use it for skin, but splash it on cleansing Korean style rinse style it gives a tightening effect without drying. I use organic coconut oil for the double cleanse method to remove dirt, oil, makeup, then a tea tree oil cleanser with a facial sponge. Once a week I will exfoliate with Dermalogica micro exfoliant. Witch Hazel as a toner with a cotton application to tone is really nice as well and all are affordable except Dermalogica. Rosewater is also nice for drier skin. Treatment like vitamin C or retinol, hyaluronic Acid for prepping before moisturizer.
Oh my Korean skin products are the best ive ever used.
Hi Abbey, Hope you're keeping well and had a lovely weekend ❤! Such a great video and a range of different products 🥰. I used to use the Benefit Professional primer, but I felt it left my skin so slippery and my felt like it was sliding off my face and for that reason I stopped using it. I remember the video that you did of the Tartlet eyeshadow pallet, such beautiful colours for everyday 😍. I use Colegate Luminous, as I did try the Colegate Optic but I felt like it didn't have a minty taste from the start had to work to get that and that is why I didn't purchase again. I only started using Micellar Water 💧 from watching your channel and that is what you recommended to remove make-up/sunscreen. That Lancome Remover 😲 the price 😭! One thing I wanted to ask you if you don't mind 😘! Could I use a Anti Aging BHA 2% Exfoliant, Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment and Timeless Vitamin C alternate nights in my skincare routine? I would like to know your thoughts about this if you can 💕. Thank you 🥰!
What are your thoughts on the brazilian capillary schedule? Will you do a video about this topic? I love your videos 🙂
Thank you for the recommendations! I can't use Benzoyl Peroxide on my face either. Even the 2.5% spot treatment makes my face SUPER itchy for like, 3 days! I must be allergic to it. Also, when I tried out one of the popular acne lines, their face wash had Benzoyl Peroxide in it and it made my eye swell up a few times before I realized what was causing it. I immediately stopped using it and stopped buying products with it. There are so many acne products with Benzoyl Peroxide in them... it's crazy!
Same happened to me! Mix of benzoyl peroxide and the harsh sulfates in some proactive wash and spot treatment made my eyes swell shut, face blew up, got angry red and stupud itchy and felt burnt. If I use *any* BP now the itchiness and sensitivity is unbearable. I don't know how people use it regularly!
I LOVED this video!! I haven’t wanted so many new products from just 1 video in a long time😍 part 2 please! I need the whole list of things you didn’t mention here!❤️
LOL I used to use the Lancome makeup remover! For no reason I was blowing all that money! You're not alone.
Same
Just whyyyyy
@@AbbeyYung mind programming. You were caught in the hype/marketing. Under the spell.
My dental hygienist actually recommended the Colgate Optic White line as a way for me to try to be able to use whitening toothpastes again. (I am so sensitive that I can’t even use whitening toothpaste every day. Probably from years of using bleaching trays.) She said-tho it can cause sensitivity in some people who are super prone-it’s generally a great one to try for sensitive folks. Something about the hydrogen peroxide makes it super effective without sending you through the roof when you eat or drink hot & cold stuff. I use the stain eraser one every 3rd day and love it.
I love that toothpaste
@@stephanied6711 it’s the best! 😊
Love the mighty patches! How is the coverage on the two “primers” you recommended? Wondering if those could take the place of a less tinted sunscreen I currently use..
also for teeth whitening I highly recommend the lumineux brand bc they don’t hurt
Coconut oil, apricot, jojoba etc...work great for removing eye makeup and they're good for your skin.
Try La Roche Posay toleraine ultra moisturizer. This is the best moisturizer I have used. Fragrance free and it makes your face feel amazing
What is the texture of this product? Light and gel like or thicker and hence more occlusive?
@@gianninal5455 there is a cream and a lotion. The lotion is much lighter. The cream is thicker.
If you still have teeth sensitivity you need a toothpaste with hydroxyapatite. Boka is one in the U.S., but most of them are found in Japanese toothpastes. They rebuild your tooth enamel which stops the sensitivity and also makes your teeth whiter without any whitening agent.
You should try the Eva nyc mane magic 10 in 1 primer spray. It’s a super light weight hair oil and can be used on damp or dry hair. It’s amazing and smells so bomb, I can’t believe it’s not high end. And i find it compliments the ouai leave in conditioner (scent wise).
I heard great things about their products
The fragrance is overwhelming!! Be careful if you have issues with fragrance. For me its "instant headache"
Have you used an rated shampoo brands? Olaplex vs ouai vs pureology? Sorry if you did. I started following the channel and appreciate the science details of all your beauty, skincare and hair products!
What’s the brand and colour of your nail colour - it’s very beautiful!
I must try those brow pencils!! What color do you use?? I been using Wet n Wild and I'm stuck between taupe (too light and uses up faster) and ash brown (too dark and blotchy).
Love Abby's analysis .. At the same time I was distracted so much by those nails ! :)) What nailpolish is it , anyone knows ? Love it :))
I LOVE Lancome eye makeup remover and only buy it when its at Ulta buy one get one free sale. 21 days of beauty.
Ooooooo! A two color brow powder to compete with ABH. Will check it out. Had a good one from BH Cosmetics but they don't seem to carry it any more. :-(
The one use I've seen for dry conditioners that isn't covered better by a different product category is to refresh/recondition a blowout on naturally curly/coily hair. A leave-in conditioner with any water in it will cause curly hair to revert back to its natural state - thus negating the blowout - and oil-based serums only get you so far. Other than that case, dry conditioner is pretty unnecessary.
I have naturally curly hair and I LOVE mousse 😁
What is your favorite hair brush? Was it the wet brush pro? I can't find the video where you mentioned it. Thanks!!
I follow dr dray for spf recommendations, and beautypedia. People never used to use primers. At night, if you want one, clinique & estee Lauder have great ones.
Paul's choice and kylie have great primers , non tinted
I used the lancome bifacil until it irritated my eyes. I started with the Clinique Take The Day Off and realized how much I was working with the bifacial to get eyeliner/mascara off
Wet n wild has great eyebrow items, always sales, promotions at cvs.
I think also Maybelline has great items
The Jason Wu at target is supposed to be great.
I wish someone couldve stopped me from using whitening strips. That pain from teeth sensitivity is unmatched. Sometimes I wouldnt be able to sleep because my teeth just hurt so much!
Same unless I use Sensodyne toothpaste. Before I do the strips and after. Makes a huge difference.
L’Oréal has an unscented collagen facial cream that I love more then It Cosmetics face cream. It’s just as hydrating and creamy with no scent and probably 1/3 of the cost of It Cosmetics.
Love this video!! I would love a part 2 😊
Great video! What does the Hairitage oil smell like? I’ve been trying to find a nicely scented hair oil for awhile. I used to love Moroccanoil but am trying not to use silicone. Do you know a dupe for Moroccanoil? Thank you!!
I had never heard of the CoTZ sunscreen. Looks really good. I usually just wear Australian Gold alone. Or I wear my foundation under it. Is that crazy? Actually works quite well. :)
Have never bought Lancome make-up remover, & never would. I have lots & lots of the Lancome sample bottles lol . Beautypedia likes it, though . It's also not as much $ as you said. I love gwp
Dr Dray first started recommending that fragrance free neutrogena oil.
hey Abbey...what lipstick are you wearing? colour is beautiful!!
A good cheap alternative to the mighty patches is just regular hydrocolloid bandages. I just get a pack of big one and cut them to size which is really nice for larger/cystic pimples too. They’re an absolute lifesaver though.
Hi where did you buy the regular hydrocolloid bandages?
@@jeannette9574 pretty much anywhere enough find bandaids. I’ve gotten them from CVS, Target and even my grocery store. Pretty sure they also sell them on Amazon too. They’re the same thing as pimple patches just a lot cheaper plus they work for blisters too if you ever get them.
@@NatalieJ22 Thank you!!
