I just watched your remco style monster playset! Definitely sturdier than the vintage one for sure and still keeping with the flavor! I had the 6 inch ones,the most common,Drac,Frank,ND mummy.never had a monsterizer or the 3 inch ones much less the playset l,cousin had them and he shared
Widow of the web...wind-up spider..old and young widow,the cyclops..great work! I'd love to see a set of both scales of A team..those 3 inch versions just looked so cheap

I will be making more Krull for sure, and I will be adding Slayers to the Mego scale versions of Krull batches that I sell as well. There is an amazing toy designer named Toyweaver that does Last StarFighter figures and vehicles and they are amazing!

They did, they were listed late November I believe (I always post the time and day of the drop on Instagram of when they are for sale) I made 50 and they lasted less then a min. I will be making more in February so there will be another drop then.
Awesome video, love seeing the process from mock ups and tests though to the promo shots. Really dig the analysis and take and leave approach to classic toy joints and construction, modernizing selectively. Do you find digital tools like ZBrush and 3D printers make scratch building figures more accessible to indies versus automotive clay and toxic jugs? Do you injection mold your final product pieces at all? Sorry for all the questions, you're stuff is master class. Maybe add your social / shop links to your bio / about info? Plaid Stallions' newsletter got me here, now I'd like to share the video and if that includes a path for folks to purchase your work or the world of folks you recommend like White Elephant, that'd be a win. Recently ordered White Elephant's Bog Monster and Blue Ape Man, point of fact. Would love to get a set of your Krull made Kenner style, those are chef kiss.
Thank you for the kind words, very much appreciated! I have many figures and other developed toys to show in the coming months. And when it comes to digital, I really enjoy hand sculpting, mold making casting (the tree head was clay, a plaster mold, then a latex pull) more, but the digital options allow you to work in way you couldn’t before. I can literally sculpt on a iPad without having to have a dedicated space and without making a huge mess in the process. Even using resin printers, it’s far less messy. And everything so far is small batch done at home, I do hope to get some future lines done with injection molding. Thanks for the tip about the link, I’ll add that to the main bio so people can always see what is for sale at my eBay shop. I have White Elephant’s bog monster myself and love him! More Krull figures will be. Are next year, I’ll likely double the batch to have more to go around!
Thank you! when each new batch is ready, I announce them on instagram (day and time) to give everyone some advance notice. I usually do 1-2 batches a month. A handful of Mego style figures or 30-50 kenner style figures.
Knickerbocker created several prototypes for the film, one of them being the slayer. Knickerbocker was acquired by Kenner before those prototypes made it into production.
Definitely need some The Last Starfighter figures. ❤❤❤

Thank you and for sure, the thin clear plastic did rip and with the pieces being only cardboard, they didn’t hold up for long!
