My wife returns it by supporting me in my dumb stuff to get away from the kids. It's not a calling, it's a job that you don't get paid for but save daycare and stress on schedules. He should focus on making it possible for more parents to be stay at home parents and less on people living their lives

I’m doing it for my kids, and because the logistics of modern life and school vs work schedules, plus costs of daycare and before/after school care is insane. However, it is horrible and not ideal lol.
