The defense played very well after the opening two possessions. There was good second half adjustments too... just the offense was stalled in the 4th, but this was exciting and well worth the $6 I paid to watch this.
It is so unfortunate that Stanford has a great Stadium and yet they cannot fill it. I went there with the HMB in 2007 and I couldn't believe how nice it was and how little fans were there.
now that's $6 well spent. im really impressed especially holding Stanford to just 3 points in the second half. should be a good year for SJSU. WAC champs, possibly?
Louisiana Tech is the unanimous favorite.. but SJSU and Utah State are the two who can provide a threat... we'll see. SJSU needs to win games when they're favored, something they haven't done before..
Stanford's offense was a little more boring. A few times they didn't execute passes or run plays as well. They didn't take risks or deep balls. Early on it looked good but nothing really impressive.
You need to have alumni connections with Stanford. Stanford has no "fans" per say. Just a bunch of alumni/students. They're not one of those schools that can attract fans.

didn't watch the game but heard the Spartans almost pulled off an upset. good on them.
