I’m from Brisbane. Made it over to The Bridge in 2017, best experience of my life! Also went to Turf Moor, The Etihad and Anfield for matches, and stadium tour of The Emirates as well. All were special in their own way.
Because our womans team has gone back 2 back league titles and got to the final in the champions league but got beat by a great Barcelona side we are so proud of them
This guy said Chelsea had no history as compared to Man City! 😲 He just realised Chelsea had won two European trophies in the 70’s and 90’s before Abramovich
Don't agree, maybe I'm biased as an Arsenal fan but we have 13 league titles to Chelsea's 6 and 14 FA Cups to Chelsea's 8. Now granted European Cup wins are huge, and definitely contribute a lot to the international standing of a club. But it's racking up those domestic league titles and cups into a big tally over time which shows a truly historic club. Chelsea are now unquestionably the second biggest, though.
@@arshavin85 why do all arsenal fans only talk about history? Why don’t you talk about the history that you are creating right now, just like what Chelsea are doing
Chelsea have allways been a big club. And for 15 years now they have been up there among the gigants. What they need now is expanding it to 60.000 ,or build a new stadium. I hope they stay at the bridge. Great video.
@@ehiyahasgotabenthairline2586 how wud the increase it?? Have you ever been?? Because it cant be done .They need to move otherwise they'd have to completely rip out the bridge and go again
@@gavomorg762 It can be done. In fact the club already got planning permission for a new 60,000+ stadium at Stamford Bridge. The project has been put on hold until the financial climate hopefully improves in the near future.
Chelsea should have been in the European cup in 1955/56 after winning the first division in 1954/55 but the FA declined to enter us! Still think you should only be in the Champions league if you win your league, and yes I know that means we wouldn’t have been in the competition the two years we won it 😬👍. Nice work ❤️
Yes, you are correct to say that as CHELSEA were barred from participation by The Football Association. Alan Hardaker, the secretary of the Football League at the time, thought that Chelsea should not play in the competition ‘for fear of fixture congestion and a distraction to domestic football. Hardaker was quoted as saying that the committee saw the European Cup as ‘something of a joke’ and ‘at best, a nine-day wonder’, according to Rick Glanvill. If Chelsea had been allowed to play in the competition, they would have been England’s first-ever club to represent the country in the European Cup. However, it instead became Manchester United the following year. It wasn’t that the FA allowed them, they, in fact, tried to stop them as well, but United manager Sir Matt Busby decided to ignore the request and took part anyway.
The Champions League needs renaming The European Cup. We want the best clubs in it not the champions of weedy leagues at the expense of giant clubs from Spain, England, Italy and Germany.
I recently came across your Liverpool tour video from last year. The history of Liverpool speaks in that video, but Chelsea have done well in showcasing their history as well. Love your tour videos, mate ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
This rhetoric that rival fans throw out about Chelsea having no history is so lazy. 116 years of history, granted not all successful but it’s still history. Chelsea and Liverpool share one thing in common - they were teams created to play at a stadium , rather than the other way around . For all Chelsea's great success ,and all the wonderful players that have worn the blue shirt since, I still have the greatest love for the Osgood era . To see that player float effortless and stylishly around a muddy pitch ,while being hacked from behind ,was a thing of wonder . For me it was a time of wonder - jumpers for goalposts . Respects to Paul Canonville - he wore the shirt with pride - despite getting dog's abuse for his trouble ✌️

Skipped a few bits, The Shed end and the Shed wall showing just how far from the pitch the fans were, Matthew Harding Stand, the building of the East Stand in 70’s that crippled the club and led to the sale of Osgood. The Save The Bridge campaign, Ken Bates, electric fences and concrete benches. Could also have mentioned the Chelsea Pitch Owners who own the freehold to Stamford bridge and the name Chelsea FC. Plenty of history…
You got the best footy channel on UA-cam mate. Thanks for sharing your amazing adventures and content. Such an easy voice to listen to as well. Quality all round buddy 👍🏻👍🏻
Hiya, interesting fact not sure if you know this already but Chelsea can’t actually move stadiums even if they wanted to. The pitch and name ‘Chelsea Football Club’ is owned by the Chelsea pitch owners association. Anyone can be a member you just pay for your shares - it’s pretty cheap. No one can be a majority shareholder as you can’t have more than 100 shares. If the club moves from that pitch they won’t be allowed to use the trademarked name unless 75% of CPO agrees they can. John Terry is our president. The proposed move to Battersea power station didn’t go ahead because of the CPO. It’s quite powerful.
When I went to the bridge back in the 70,s the place apart from the east stand was a crumbling almost derelict excuse for a stadium, didn't matter to me it was and always will be sacred ground. When I was a kid I could get in the shed for 50p and a hot dog was about the same and they tasted great!

Took the tour, saw the museum and shop, and went to a match 8 years ago. It’s nice to see how it’s been updated. Thanks! Liked and subbed. Can’t wait to see the other stadiums around England. I really appreciate your loyalty to Liverpool not affecting your appreciation of stadiums and trophies. Great content!
Lovely to see some feyenoord stuff at stamford bridge
Love these videos
Great tour sam😊
Great content as always 🙏
Went to Stamford Bridge once a few seasons ago in the away end. Used the gents, loads of urinals, plenty of stalls and hand basins but just one....one, hand dryer. Thought old Abramovich could run to another one.
