Damn nice
I want my 86 to sound nice, but not be overbearing and obnoxious to the drivers and people around me. Not too loud like the MXP or N1, and too quite like the Q300 and R400. This exhaust is perfect.

the q300 and r400 are louder but ok

I like it. Perfect if you don't want to be super loud and obnoxious but still want your car to sound nice. Any chance we'll get some clips with UEL headers? That would be interesting to hear but I like the more refined, deep tone it gives already. Better than stock but not too, too loud

I've got these on mine with some UEL headers, sounds super deep and aggressive. Much louder than my old r400.

I own a frs 2016 and one of the best exhaust I’ve heard and seen from ft86 speed factory is the mxp comp rs exhaust, that is the best exhaust for brz, 86, or frs.

@@cursedgaming2024 its not as loud as say a MXP, but to me it's perfect for a daily (what I use it for). Very deep tone, very bassy, but 100% louder than stock. There is the slightest bit of drone when cruising over 5k rpm. Overall though if it's for a daily, in my opinion it's the best.
Sound like my GReddy/Trust gcs exhaust. Deep mature sound. I am a fan.

@@Faith_Driv3n I have the Perrin catback, it’s actually perfect, but I have a cutout on the exhaust and it won’t close, but when it’s closed it’s nice and quiet and sounds good
My q400 cane with loose tips and I had to fix it with a hose clamp haha worked like a charm though
Can't decide between the Invidia N1 & N2 I'd hope to purchase one soon, but there are so few reviews on the N2 all I have really heard is it's quieter than the N1 but louder than the R400 which isn't too helpful. I want a loud exhaust but don't want to sound too obnoxious, and have to turn my music all the way up to hear it. Any suggestions? I'd preferably get one of these two.

I’d stick to invidia. Both n1 and n2 for bass like tone. R400 for raspier and q300 for quieter stock like. N1 is louder than n2 but not obnoxious as catback. Gets definitelylouder with headers. N2 is not as loud as catback. Would probably be very similar once with headers

No other exhaust mods, just the cat-back installed. We will try to get weight figures when we have some free time, we have not put it on the scales yet.

Ignore this if you specifically want it professionally installed, but dude just install it yourself. Much cheaper cause you don’t have to pay for labor, and exhausts are among the easiest mods to do. I didn’t even know how to change a tire when I installed my exhaust (I know I know) so it’s not hard all. It is a bitch if your bolts are rusted, but overall it’s easy.

Better is subjective for exhausts, depends on how loud you want the car and what other mods you're doing.
The Invida N1 seems louder..
Yes, that is because the N1 is louder. The mufflers are smaller on the N1.

This n1 and n2 exhaust sounds the same as the stock, maybe itill sounds different when you drive it in higher rpm.
