Just chimming into what yammie said... you probably will say... I'll never drop my bike! trust me bro.... you will. you will forget about that corner on the dirt or have a oh shit moment. we have all been there, pick your baby up, appologise to what you have done to her and how you have ashamed her and her beautiful looks, grab all the peices you can and ride on home. learn to plastic weld, get her to looking frankinstien and questionable to cops while you wait for thoose sweet funds to come back into your wallet to renew and restore your baby girl.
not a case of if, it's a when. just gunna happen.
also if anyone sells you a beginner bike from 2015+ and states it's never been dropped... they are most likely bullshitting you.

I dropped my instructor's bike within 5 minutes. Then, when I got my CBT for a 125cc I dropped that and damaged the tank after 3 weeks, I learned from that one. That was 4 years ago and I haven't dropped one since.
I'll probably drop my bike tomorrow now I have said that.
and today you dropped the bike (just guessing)
@@jakegarrett8109 lol facts. Gotta invest in some bumpers 💯
It happens... I front flipped my bike learning endos and slid it 50ft learning wheelies. All in less than 1k miles... still cant do either lol
I dropped my dad's duke when I started. Learned real well trying to replace plastics
u fine? haha
Literally bought a bike with the help of this channel. That was 3 months ago. Now I have three Motorcycles 😭. I did ride about 7 years ago and quit when my dad passed on a bike. Picked it back up and treated it like I had never ridden. This channel definitely helped me get back to being interested again as long with picking up some tips from the Yam! Keep up the good work brother man!
I love to hear it!
Damn man, sorry to hear about your loss. A similar situation for me though. My uncle left me his crf450r after his passing and it sat for a whole year before I felt comfortable. Now looking back I’m 100% certain a 450 was the best/worst bike to start riding on lol don’t think I’ll upgrade at all. But a 1000cc rocket is sounding fun😂
Really glad you're riding again bro. I'm sorry about your dad.
@@nightfury6836 thanks! Much 💙
@@jamali450 thank you very much. And the ultimate squid Middle 😂
A 30 year old colleague, wearing street clothes and only boots and a helmet tried to do a wheelie at 160 kph yesterday, and he fell. He broke his collar bone, pelvis, 4 ribs, scraped the skin from his back, and is currently in intensive care. I watched how he rode and warned him that at some point he was going to come off hard if he continued to ride his bike like he stole it. He was an accident looking for a place to happen. I'm just happy that he is still alive to hopefully be able to learn from his mistake.
Sorry about your friend's fall, and I hope he recovers well. I hope it doesn't turn you off riding, and you don't let him or his family take it away from you either. ;o)
Gotta respect the danger mayne, I hooe your buddy makes a full recovery.
@@gnarthdarkanen7464 No, that won't happen. I love my Shadow and I will never sell it, plus I'm old man and have long ago realised that I'm not immortal.
@@OldRhino AWESOME! I'd still rather ride than breathe... and let's just say it wouldn't be my first rodeo, either.
Keep 'er between the ditches, now! ;o)
My best friend is trying to learn how to do a wheelie and it scares me how easily he could slip. Tell him yourself man please and say it's dangerous. He has BIG dreams but I tell him to be careful
I am now a proud owner of a Honda rebel 500, just bought it last week. It took 2 years to save for it and I’ve been watching Yammie noob in preparation for such occasion. Best decision I’ve ever made. Next week. Turbo hayabusa
That’s awesome dude! How is it? I’m still in my 2 year save up period 😅
BUSAAAA !!!!!😂💀
How much was the final price?
@@Darvin-Hams-burner-account idk if he bought it new or used but used they go for about 5-6k, fairly cheap haha
Yooooo honda rebel for life!!!!
That "you will drop your bike" is definitely true. I low sided my first bike (R3) just under a year after I bought it, it was at like 28mph riding super early in the season. I picked up an Indian Challenger last year, and wouldn't you know it three days after that, I stopped on an odd hill, and it decided it wanted to lay down and take a nap until I was able to muscle it upright.
I crashed 1 month after I got my endorsement. 70mph, hi-sided it locking the brakes up to miss a deer. It was super fun (ATGAT), but if I had been in curvies probably would have died.
It took you a whole year?! Nice! 👍
i think i've dropped my bike like 4 times in the last 8 months or so
I've been riding for a bout 5yrs. Just a month ago i was sitting on my bike & the kick stand slipped from underneath me. Ended up getting thrown 3ft away lol
I dropped my bike an hour after I left the dealership coming out of a gas station. Good times!
I’ve dropped my bikes 3 times. The worst was when after about 4 years of riding, had never dropped it and was super confident. Side saddled the bike from the petrol bowser to the air compressor and it went the way I could stop it. On the bright side, a girl asked if I was ok and I made a girl friend out of it. 🤷♂️
Just bought my bike and rode it for the first time today! I’ve been watching your vids for over a year now and wanted to thank you for inspiring me to ride!
What’d you get?
I've been riding over 40 years, recently bought a lightly used MT07, put new bars on it and dropped it in the garage! I thought the kickstand was up... :)
Almost did the same thing, I was gently putting it down thinking the kickstand was up, but it wasn't. Somehow pulled it back up
I am 17 and I work 70 hours a week making 15.50 an hour and I decided I wanted a small bike, nothing crazy. When I talked to my parents about it they kinda went ballistic! When I was a kid my father had a friend that was around me for most of my life and was kinda grandfathered in. He was very outgoing and funny, good guy. About a year ago someone ran a red light and hit him on his ninja 400. After months of not talking or moving in the hospital he “recovered”. He now has the mentality of a child and can’t comprehend simple situations. He doesn’t remember me or a lot of other people. It’s quite sad
I hear ya, thats unfortunate that it happened to him. If your gonna ride i just wanna say Always ride like the person beside you infront of you and behind you cannot see you. Don't stick near them because the speed limit.. If they are doing the speed limit when u have a safe situation change lanes and pass. Everytime they are like semi's if ur on a bike literally avoid being in sketchy situations dont ride at night unless u have LED headlights & some glow lights around the frame helps u stand out and get peoples attention. Its what i do and i ride in ohio on the highway everyday.
Accidents happen in any vehicle u use - might as well enjoy life a bit in a safe way and be as careful as possible 🤓
i work like 20 hours a week at 17 but i make 19.50 and i wanted to get a bike but my dad said no he rode for like 10 years and i just convinced him to let me do my msf course so idk i would just try and start doing the safety stuff i think im just gonna get a bike on my 18th
@@atharvakamat313 Gosh where do y'all guys live making so much at 17. I make barely $6 an hour at 18 lmao
@@zonty8170 i live in king county wa, also im pretty sure $6 is under the minimum wage lol, here our minimum is 15
32 yrs old. Started riding last April when gas was still $2. Actually, probably one of the best financial decisions I have ever made besides buying a home.
33 here. I saw this BS coming and put a deposit on a Honda Grom before Christmas and it came in last month. So far 125 mpg and it keeps up with traffic fine and goes up to 63mph. It's way better than I thought too so far.
@@JGonYT Have you verified the speed against phone/GPS? If it does 63 that's not too bad for most roads.
@@jakegarrett8109 Not yet, but a few miles on I-75 wasn't bad.
Sir, respectively...fuck you
Coughing* 2g a month on a single closet without hangers
oh man, I'm in the same situation (and age). Planning to get rid of my BMW and start riding
Idk about number 4, two years ago (roughly) some guys bike got stolen and he posted on the biker pages on Facebook from my town and I swear I’ve never seen a community or together so fast, people were sending photos from everywhere, eventually found the guy riding to another city on the bike, then the police got him in that city. I was super impressed, maybe nobody cares what make and model you have but if someone steels your bike I feel like you can rely on most other biker to genuinely keep on eye out and maybe even go out of their way to help look.
I've been riding on and off for 8 years now, got around 6000 miles on the saddle (which is child's play, I know - I do that in two weeks in my semi tanker) - but I have genuinely never dropped or came off my bikes yet. I've had a few close calls from locking the rear brake up in traffic, but I've somehow kept it upright.
This fact is not something I'm proud of so much as terrified about. I know it's eventually going to happen and that scares the hell out of me.
Lol I was the same way. My day came when I least expected it the most… in my garage, cranking up the bike Smh. I put my kick stand up, forgot and distributed my weight too far on one side and fell over. I even had to have my sister help me pick the bike back upright.
Watch some video on how to pick them up I watched a string bean girl pick up a giant Harley, came in handy I dropped my bike twice in the same week working on it :/ and it’s 550 pounds
I had a 50cc 2 stroke scooter for a year then decided to get my bike license and bought a R6 2 weeks ago as my first “big” bike and I’m loving it 😄
Then when you get a naked bike you will realize how miserable that r6 was to ride lol! But to each their own! Keep having fun 🥳 ride safe!!!
which scooter you had? I had a genuine roughhouse 50 on street tires, super fun and incredibly reliable
@@inFamousAnto A Kymco Sting 50 and I still have it 😅
@@TypicalMT I learned to ride on a naked bike, a Suzuki Bandit 600, and I immediately noticed the difference when I sat on the r6 😂 I still think it’s worth the back pain 😁
Everything you listed was accurate for me except for number 1 about mods/gear. In fact the opposite was true as I was a broke ass college kid at the time. The bike was a thrashed 80's Honda that I just put new oil in, duct taped the turn signals back on and ran it. For gear I bought the cheapest Full-face helmet the local Canadian Tire had, Used leather jacket, gardener gloves and steel-toe work boots from my dad. Not saying this is at all how you should start riding but that is how I started.
I take the MSF mid July, and was gifted an 81 Virago. Your videos have been really helpful
I forgot, it's a 750
Cool. I’m taking it 7/14. All quiet mountain dirt roads til then! 🤫
Enjoy!
Good luck bro! Have fun and stay relaxed.
Just bought my first motorcycle ever, rode for the first time today and it's the most amazing feeling ever, I almost missed a stop but now I'm going and haven't stopped riding for about 6 hours!
Bought my first motorcycle, an '03 Rebel, two months ago... It might be the worst bike ever, but I love it and it changed my life.
Hey that’s what it’s about, the perspective it gives you. Normies will never understand lol👍🏻
NO Honda did not make the "worst bike ever"... Anyone who thinks so should get stuck on one. It's an unreliable, badly aged little thing out of Russia from back in the day. Other than it's 200cc's I couldn't read a damn thing about it, including that name... AND it was never really "right"... even though I'm not bad at improvising and I have a few machinists as friends, so parts can be manufactured to spec' on the spot... for a price.
After a year, at a loss I'm not proud of, I finally gave up on it ever being "in tune" more than "to the greater degree" and sold it to the first person who squealed delightedly and offered me money for the 'curio'...
The brakes were drums, front and rear, and from Russia, they had all the stopping power of a soft cheese... The carburetor was over-complicated, and even with THE BEST filters on the planet, found new and mind-boggling ways to jam or clog. In spite of a new dynamo install by a certified electronics engineer, the spark was dull orange at best, and it took three of us tinkering for two days to even get it in time enough to start and run reliably... AND to top it all, the god damn kick-start could ONLY fit on the shaft one way and was about 10 degrees WRONG for actually being able to kick the son of a bitch... When you suffer about a 40% misfire (no start, but backfires) rate, do you have ANY idea how rough it gets trying to start a 200 cc motorcycle with your HAND in the 90 degree summers in Virginia Beach (so about 110% humidity)??? Hmmm???
THAT was THE worst motorcycle ever built... unless the Russians found a new genius method to make something even worse... I have a thing for "curiosities", even today... BUT I will never own another one of THOSE... AND I still kinda feel bad about selling it instead of just crushing or grinding it into little bitty pieces...
Honda's RELIABLE... AND frankly, other than that detail, as long as you're on two wheels, I think you'e got a cool bike. The 84 or 85 Rebel 250 was MY first bike, so I admit a soft spot for them... haha... I even talked my brother into one as HIS first bike, though a different year and NOT carried home in buckets, the way mine was... AND he loves her, too. ;o)
I bought a beautiful new 2022 Ninja 400 as a first bike the other week. Passed the MSF that day, and rode the bike 20 miles home on a freeway.
It felt great. Then later that day I biffed it when I hit some gravel in the road during a left turn from a stop and scratched the hell out of the right fairing when I dropped it into the curb.
I was heartbroken, but realized I was entirely unharmed and the bike still runs. Those little mistakes when you first ride hurt your soul but you feel so much better when you don't let it stop you and keep going.
I look forward to the rest of my first year riding, thanks Yammie and other biketubers for helping me get into and finally pull the trigger on a bike, and realize that mistakes happen and they're no big deal.
Ride safe, fellas.
happens to the best
The first scratches are just freeing!
I used to ride my 180cc since i was 15 but last year ,at 23, I bought my 2005 Yamaha XT660x and started actually riding responsibly, learning by yammie and fortnine. Thank you guys!
I started riding a 250cc, I'm 15
@@cloudy5340 Dang, you're lucky, my father won't let me ride a 125cc saying that it was too powerful.
@@RamiJatuk69 Damn that sucks wanting to ride and not being able too
I’ve been riding for 3 years now and your videos have saved my ass so many times, I love the riding techniques you put out there and the quality of the channel you are the main creator that inspired me to start riding, so I can’t thank you enough!!
I rode a bunch as a kid on dirt bikes, though stopped for almost 20-25 years. Just picked up riding again 2 years ago and sofa king happy I did! Not too embarrassed to say but for the first couple weeks I found speeds over 55mph a bit jarring at first and Im on a CB250. Super glad I went with such a slow bike at first. I didnt outgrow it right away either, I accept the bike for what it is and what it isnt and intend to keep it forever despite planning to get a bigger bike soon.
6 months ago got an r3 for my first bike I had ever ridden. 6 months later I have a zx6r and am loving it. Also convinced 4 other to ride so far! Love it man
Just passed my MSF yesterday. Gonna get my bike this weekend.
Unless you live where it snows, good rain gear cuts all the rain AND wind AND will keep you pretty warm in cold weather.
I got a meteor 350 as a first bike but it’s just got way too much power so I traded it in for a R6
Good lad. If you find that a handful I recommend a cheap busa
I finally did it Yammie, 32 and got my first bike after watching your videos for a few months.
Cruiser boy. 💪🏽
Bought my first bike yesterday. CBR300R. Having a lot of fun with it
Good choice
Ride safe homie
It's a good bike. Cbr500r are for bigger dudes who just need the space without the oodles of power. Sometimes slower is more appropriate.
Really love your commentary. It's very informative while still entertaining.
I rode a couple of bikes before but today makes it a month since I bought my very first ZX6R-2022. What a bike!!
i have an orange 2020, 636 is so fast
Excellent job on this one. Great info & made me laugh too. If this is your first season GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN NEW RIDERS 😉
This was the most accurate and insightful video of your career. Please stop stalking me.
bought my G310R in August and just started riding again last month. About 5000 miles in and some of these I've experienced. I've met a lot of people and have had a lot of great conversations. Haven't dropped it and I've been getting it back to stock because the original owner wanted it to be a dirt bike ikd. BTW, you can get a lightly used stock exhaust at the dealer for cheap. Best decision I've ever made.
I started out on a shitbox 600 (thats still in my shed) and hand me down gear. I had to ride that thing every day, even though it was falling apart. Years later Ive got a couple nice bikes, and still have the passion but not like that first year.
Enjoy that first year my dudes.
I never saw this coming. I bought a cbr300r thinking that it was gonna be my bike for a couple years and I would eventually upgrade to a 600 and then so on. But after a year and a half or riding. And countless hours of coaching. I am officially A group at my local track and I am going to finance my third R1 on monday. Time really does fly with this lifestyle.
i’m debating starting on a 400 or a 600 i don’t really have experience but I’m not a dumbass which do you think i should do? I don’t want to get bored of a 400 too fast and need to spend more money like a year into riding but i don’t wanna get hurt.
@@maxd8487 I mean if you ride safe enough. You can almost guarantee safety. There is always gonna be that one idiot who doesn't check their mirror or that one gravel patch etc. You can further protect yourself by wearing proper gear. As for the bikes displacement however. You could be completely safe with a literbike as a beginner given you have enough maturity and patience to ride it correctly. Or you could be completely wreckless and die on a 300. It all depends on you and how much you trust yourself to handle. I personally recommend taking a hard look at yourself and asking yourself if you're ready for a 600. If you think thats the case, get a helmet, take a couple msf courses and start looking for bikes. I always like to say its alot more fun to go fast on a slow bike, than go slow on a fast bike. My new R1 is great on the track and highway, but it is a terrible commuter, it gets to about 230⁰ at stoplight and here I am just trying not to melt. Get whatever your comfortable with and don't let your ego convince you to get a bigger bike for reasons other than your own enjoyment. Whatever the case, stay safe out there and use ur noggin.✌️
I have to say I have a master's in Piano before starting a career in Electrical Engineering and your taste in classical music is lit.
"You'll realize modding a bike is cheaper than modding a car."
Yeahhhhhh, no. As a long time car modder, that's what I assumed. Was blown away when I discovered that moto mods largely cost about the same!
A note: You don't necessarily _have_ to meet a lot of people your first year riding. I managed to avoid meeting any!
I 2nd this. My zx14r exhaust cost as much as my challengers
@@joeroth3666 bro just the headers for a challenger cost the same as a full exhaust for a zx14. you must’ve gotten absolutely screwed on that zx exhaust...
@@billy1503 or just bought a rly bad exhaust for the challenger
@@teequegaming6447 I tried looking and I can’t find any system less than $600 and thats cat back if he’s comparing apples to apples you’d have to look a a full system which is no less than 1,500.... now maybe I’m just unaware but I don’t know of any zx exhaust thats $1,500
True. I haven’t met a single person who currently rides. But I’ve met a lot of old guys who used to ride 😂
My first year,, lets just say i bought new fairings 3 years later, just to be sure i honed in the following: forgetting kick stand, too much front brake at low speed and dropping, u-turns(4getaboutit). First year was tuff. Im 6 years in now. Ride safe folks and don’t rush-just enjoy.
Number 1 doesn’t apply to me. I alreadly had a 2 price leather suit so just had to buy gloves a helmet and boots (still came to £600 total). But I save about £300 on fuel every month commuting to work on the bike rather than in the car.
Sv650 - best bike ever made.
fuel here is like 25$ a month which is soo fucking cheap
I have an 2000 sv ad 07 gsxr 600. Love them both. Looking into an 08 1000
I watched my dad drop his Harley Davidson street glide the first time he brought it up in the driveway. Number 6 reminded me of it
Starting my license course this summer. I've always wanted to ride an MC but never even considered putting it on the list as it's unthought of in the family I come from. Now 7 years later of wanting to ride one badly I'm finally making the decision to start riding - .... in secret of my family. :--D
My family is the same. I have one brother that would let me ride 2up on a 250 Yamaha when we were teens but he's since passed. I took interest again in mcs last year and started looking. My mom kept saying i didn't need it, it's too dangerous. My cousin broke her hip when she wrecked her bike. I bought a bike late last year anyway. Didn't know how to ride so I took that msf course and now I'm doing my thing. So glad I did!!
I will admit I dropped my bike 3 times trying to make it to the top of my steep driveway. The course don't teach nothing about tackling hills, but i got it now and haven't dropped it since
@@theah781 Nice man, happy to hear you finally got to do it. Of course you can hurt yourself but just ride as smart as you can and I think the enjoyment is worth the risk.
I live in Europe so I'm gonna have to do an extensive course to get my license unfortunately... license alone will probably be $2000-$3000. No such thing as an MSF course here. :( There are very few spots this summer aswell so might only get to practice-ride with an experienced motorcyclist supervising me.
Got plans of what your first bike will be? I've almost decided on the Yamaha XJ6 Diversion.
Just bought my first bike ever at 24 years old! Bought a 2006 Suzuki DL1000. Saved up bought it out right and been fixing it up with my pops. She looks beautiful! I have Fallin in love with riding. Movement is Medicine✌🏼
I never dropped by bike... for the first 5 years. Then about a month ago it happened to me. Entirely my fault as well. Still mad about it.
Thanks yammy!
After 3 years i bought my bike. Every time i saw one of your videos it kept me going to that goal.
It is a perfect bmw 310 gs, to go to the starbucks with my friends
First 2 years I spent a lot.
Venom 2 helmet - $600
DC Comics Deathstroke helmet - $200
Summer armored jacket - $110
Wet weather/cold weather jacket - $135
Gloves 2 pair - $60 total
2 pairs of shoes - $180 total
Corbin Gunfighter Seat - $625
Bar end mirrors - $80
Front fairing - $120
And that’s it, I was done. Until I get that second bike. That Harley Sporster S looks better every time I look at it.
Can’t ride a Harley without the boots, jacket, half helmet and gloves right?
i've actually never dropped my bike after 2 years. but that was the first thing i accepted when originally looking for a bike and bought one that had a bit of road rash because I assumed I would be dropping it. very thankful and always super aware when dropping the kickstand that it's stable
Bro you are one intelligent person you have really good understanding of what the hell happening around you. I just started riding and everything you say happened or still happening. Love your content stay safe
I’m really hoping to get an mt07 this summer. 😬
Gonna flex real quick, first bike was a Street Triple 675, that was 2019. Now I ride a Speed Triple 1050 any chance I get. Never laid my bikes down, only scratch that wasn't there when I got it was 3 days after I got the Street. Dude backed into it where it was parked, knocked it over. Just left side turn signals and front rotors were unspared
Papa Yam,
Thank you for the cardos.
Hope to win a bike.

Passed my MSF about a month ago. Found the channel, and I've been loving it. Also, nice 4 part harmony at the end. See I DID watch the whole thing.
I got my motercycle license after 10 mins of general familiarization and then rode 2 hours on the interstate to hit some back rodes with friends and immediately ran off a curve into some small trees. That was a Friday and on Sunday I rode it another hour back home. Time to get some gear and start checking off the rest of the things in the list!
The most important thing I learned when I got my licence is NEVER apex early on a corner either on time or late never early or you'll go wide and go off the road.
the closes you got, flip flops amd tank top riding at 2am yes. No stunts just smoking erbs and riding
I kind of want to ride a CBR500r just to see if it's really that bad.
The old ones are, but the 2022 isn't.
The old ones make Benelli 302r, better..
I own a 2019 CBR500r, and personally I love it. It is heavier than other bikes in it’s class. But it’s riding position does give it the best of both being a fully faired bike but also not being uncomfortable with fully dropped handles bars.
Th dropping bike thing is so true. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was like 6. Im 17 now and still drop my dirt bike. I’m getting a bike next year so hopefully I enjoy the biker world.
i dont have my motorcycle license, but i have a honda moped! i rode it 100 miles today and it felt amazing! the tight, twisty backroads of Northeast usa made it feel so much faster lol
I have a bit of money “invested” into a CBR500R so here’s the obligatory comment about how good they are. Best bike on earth. More comfortable than a car and they’ll smoke a turbo Busa off the line.
I was learning how to ride my 99 cbr900 in my yard and dumped it and pinned my leg under it
I had my dad pick it up and I sat there for a few minutes and got back on it and started doing laps around my yard again 😂😂😂
dropped my bike in my driveway while backing it up.. stepped on the garden hose
I really enjoy the end but of keep watching Tammy noob. Don’t stop
I just got my first motorcycle ever a 2022 HD iron 883 can’t wait to start getting on the road 🔥
Been riding for 2 months, and have had my zx14r for a month, first day I had it took it to 170, I told everyone I was riding safe but to myself I knew I was gonna send it
my first year of riding was 1996... I was 6 years old on a 79 Honda QA50. only gear I've ever had is a helmet, and iv broken several bones before I was 16 but I love dirt bikes more than anything
I dropped my bike a total of four times: 1 in my garage, 2 during my group meet ups, & 1 in my workplace's parking structure.
Older riders that happened to have my bike when they were young are the only ones that cared about my bike. '86 Honda Shadow. This list is spot on for my first 11 months of riding
Just bought a gs450ez this month. Halfway through the motorcycle training course for a license 😎
I've been riding about 4 months now and have loved every second of it even the sketchy ones 😅
i got my msf course in july (earliest i could do it) then gonna get my first bike I am so excited i just watch motorcycle vids on youtube all day hyping myself up
@@zz-ic6dx it's awesome just be careful and be aware of what's going on around you because some people really don't pay attention to you on a bike.Always be thinking of an exit if need be.Ive already had a couple close calls where I've needed to manuever around cars pulling out in front of me and objects to keep from hurting myself.
I have that exact model and color Civic SI. I've never felt more called out.
i ve been riding bikes since i was 8.I had a bike which went 30 km/h and it was a ducati for kids.I still have it but its destroyed because of my wheelies since then.
Anyways, welcome to the new riders,be careful and stay safe.
cheers
Just got a Yamaha raider today. Test drove 10+ bikes from cruisers to liter sport bikes. But absolutely hands down the best bike I’ve been on yet
As a dedicated dirt squid, dropping/dumping your bike on a daily basis is pretty much just part of life, it becomes amusing after a while, and you learn something each time
29yo and ridding since I was 21, was out of bikes for a few years now I’m back and finally got my dream bike Vitpilen 701 and your channel motivates me to keep riding till the end of expensive gas prices 🤣
Yammie I've had my bike for about 3 and a half weeks and everything that you've said is very very scarily accurate
I bought my bike with the intention of dropping it, It's plastic and I dropped it 30 min before I bought it. I love it. It's so much fun.
"Worst financial decision ever"
1 : *Dressing for the ride and not the slide*
I send every new rider i meet your vids bro Youve saved allot of friends
Honda cb350rs is my first bike. I love her so much i think i will keep her forever and customise the whole heck of a lot. Scrambler, caferacer
I used to have a cbr 600 f3. now I have a grom. love riding
I'll start when I'm outa highschool🤙🏽 My grandpas got me set up with his old bike so I'll just fix it up get some gear and I'm set 🤘🏽🤘🏽
Bought my 1st Bike today a 2019 KTM Duke after watching this channel. I wanted it already because it's a great looking bike to me lol. But your videos spoke highly of it helped me pull the trigger on it.
I just bought my first bike, a 1975 Suzuki TC185. My insurance is $12 a month with full coverage, tag is $30 a year, and I've only gassed up the 2 gallon tank one time in the 70 miles I'm into. I dropped my bike the other day while backing it out my back patio. I tipped it a bit too far one way while I only had one hand on it. I managed to get a second hand on it as it tipped. It slowly went down, so it wasn't too bad.
I've been watching your videos for over a year now. This channel pushed me to buy I bike even though I am just new to riding one. I wanted to risk for that feeling of freedom. I dropped my bike a lot and nearly crashed but I will to ride is unchanging. 😁😅
bought a sportster last week. love it. bought an r6 yesterday and oh my God what a bike.
for my first two bikes I'm more than happy.
I just got myself a crf250r and I love it!
"Youll be gentle on throtlle, slow down on corners, brake" me who just bought my bike and full throttled it. And yes droping your bike is nornal as long as u get it up quick
Honest truth I have yet to drop my bike, it’s day 4 with it. But I had a close call today when a sedan in heavy traffic slammed the brakes and made a slow turn
Only 3 months on a bike and recognising so much.
Personal nuance. I ride probably the only truly exciting beginner bike (says every beginner ever), which is a Hunter 350. First mod I put on it was a compact crash guard. Didn't drop it once, very easy and forgiving bike that managed to create a new sort of beginner rider. I wear motor jeans and motor sneakers that blend in well in the office (I work for a construction company). I live in the Netherlands which has some twisties but no real mountains, and only a handful of days where it's warm enough to use the airco, nothing that a little wind chill can't fix. I don't live for speed, my bike doesn't define me, I'm a very pragmatic guy who likes feeling connected to the road like a car can't give you. The idea of modding and maintaining it personally speaks to my engineering mind, being mean on the lean speaks to my monkey mind. It's the perfect hobby for me.
Joined the crusade. Enjoying it. 500km in 4 days, having in fact no time for it says everything :)))))
Incredible how a UA-cam video with 10 times the same 5 video loops can be fun and interesting. Cheers!
Purchased a Honda rebel 500 about 3 months ago took it out in a tropical storm, went to power slide on a stop 🛑 sign, BIG MISTAKE I slide to far and now I’m stuck with a dislocated shoulder and can’t ride for the next 3-6 months (thankfully Alive 100%) but stay safe riders, stay safe and
Better safe and intact rather than fast and in the past.
I drove my first pass road in the swiss alps today
I own a 50cc 100 kg Supermoto where I barely reach the ground with my feet. That "You will drop your bike" was pretty right.
The svartpillen wasn’t on my radar before this channel… now I’ve decided on my first street bike
6 months ago you’d have blown my mind with the crow fact, I found that out a while ago seeing a video of a rescued crow that says what’s up and a few other things, I had no idea I feel like it’s something I should have known lmao
I actually went to this wildlife rescue facility once, and they had a gift shop with a raven that would repeat back what you said, way more fun than you would ever expect
first time i dropped a bike I was on my friends little 140 dirt bike. we were riding in the sand and i came over a dune too fast and high sided when my tire didn't land straight and i freaked out and stiffed the front brake. nothing broke and nothing got hurt, hopped up and rode away. no one saw because they were in a depression next to a bigger hill.
I just picked up a electric motorcycle for motorcycle for my 1st one actually the other day and it is amazing I love the feeling of being out on the road
i bought a bike, broke that promise to be safe in on the third ride, no plate, no insurance, and 125mph, i have since wrecked, recovered, and gotten back on it.
I love everything about this video. #1, 5 and 7 is so accurate. I have to save for motorcycle parts lol. At the begginning i watched people doing dumb stuffs and used to judge them, 3 months later its me and i have every excuse possible to take my bike mainwhile at first i had all the excuses to not take my Sue. Over all, i love my journey never wanted to rush the learning process of stalling 😂. Can't wait to ride again, i now understand people who cry in winter lol
