The white bits aren’t earring backs, they are just bits of plastic tubing to keep them on the card for sale, that’s why they don’t work, those sort of earrings shouldn’t need backs :)

The light up keyring only lights up when you press it, my son got one this Christmas as pixie dust too. The stopper is just to stop it being pressed by accident and wasting battery hun x

As a former castmember, I'm kinda relieved you didn't get the castmember name because we are not allowed to give anything for free haha the only way to do that it's with the "magic touch", but only experimented casts have them. A lot of merch castmembers still give a little present to some guests they have an amazing contact with but if they get caught, they are in big trouble (Disney don't play around with "thieves"). I have that Mickey light up key ring and I didn't remove the little plastic ring, you can still press the button with it and it will keep the button safe form breaking. It only lights up for a few seconds, don't worry about the battery dying, it can be replaced. But I have to say if you leave the key ring with your keys, it will get scratches all over it and the plastic will lose its clearness. I keep it safely pinned on a board !

Earrings like that don’t have backs they are just stoppers to keep them nice for purchasing. The earrings stay in because the hook round.

You aren't suppose to put the backs on the earrings. They hoop in your ear so they can't fall out.
