I hope the guy found another Reatta! I can't imagine how he felt to have that 5 day high of driving a Reatta dropped to the ultimate low in a split second. I just bought an 89' Sapphire Blue Reatta with the blue leather interior. The blue leather interior is the rarest of them all. Out of the 4 years the Reatta was made, silver was made all 4 years but still rare with 29% of the 4 year 400%. Sapphire blue was made only in 88' and 89' making them rarer with 18% of the 4 year 400%. Having the Sapphire blue with blue leather interior makes it more rare. The rarest of rare exterior colors are the drift only produced in 90' and the polo green only produced in 91'. The Maui blue produced in 90' and 91' are also rare making up 13% of the 4 year 400% and then grey (made all 4 years) making up 16% of the 400%.

The one thing I always enjoyed about my 6000lbs solid steel 1990 GM Suburban was peace of mind. I'd been rear ended at least 3 times while in complete stop and if there was a scratch I couldn't tell. Same couldn't be said for that one Civic Hatchback that wasn't paying attention. Whole front end was ruined.

My 90 Reatta was hit by a no good...two timing...bottom dwelling....dog biting...cat murdering...dumpster diver who I have hired Voodoo priests to curse until the rebirth of the Roman Empire. But I did not care about the blue book value...I cared only about its value to me and the replacement cost to buy another. I fixed mine and drove it another 200,000 miles. Only gave it up at 420,000 miles when the electrics went bad. I will own another. Keep up the good work.

Damn that sucks an is really sad .
I have a customer's that dropped one off that I am trying to fix now that has been sitting apparently has no fuel pump will run off of starting fluid , but the gauges and stuff do not work the climate control and all that stuff that's digital does not light up but I noticed if it's very dark I can barely see the mph light up and the gas gauge Part on the cluster but that's all . It's on my channel
