JJC metal cap, can be usefull, but does not protect from dust, dust is "sucked" into camera when lens is moving, and at that time the cap can not be on... so I prefer using the NISI with a filter and cap.
What exact lens cap did you use with the nisi filter kit? On amazon i see the JJC lens cap with the letters GR on it but the one you show has the pincher to take cap off. If you could let me know which exact one works with the lens filter kit that would be great😊 Thank you in advance!
Have just bought a GR iiix, so your tips are very helpful - I want to protect this camera as much as possible. What is your view of the ‘stick-on’ UV filter by JJC - would it affect the quality of the images?
Hi there, I saw video a while back on the stick on filter. The guy on that video said it did not change the quality of the video. However, he said it did not stick on there forever, so he had to buy another one after some time.
Hi there, for me my camera would freeze when I used an aftermarket battery. That's great you have no issues when you use them. Definitely helps saves a few dollars.

Hi there, yes here it is. Its the 9th item on the link. kit.co/shysthelimit/ricoh-griiix-camera-accessories
How do you feel about the JJC UV Protective Filter which has adhesive to attach it to the lens?
I have never used the adhesive one. However, I read a few reviews and people who live is hot areas say it eventually peals off.
Thank you for the reply. I live in Las Vegas, so I think I will pass on it.
At what point it stops becoming Ricoh though! it was made to be compact extra portable camera
I assume any of the filter adapters could double as a lens hood. Not as cool looking as a good square hood but less expensive.
I agree sir
