I love how this animation portrays Spamton as an absolute powerhouse, he's menacing. People say that Spamton's fight is easy because he's weaker than Jevil but I'd say it's because our party has way more HP. *Spamton NEO is supposed to be feared.*
@@Grim-c8n I also really like that design choice. It's not as though Spamton's actually stronger in that fight-you were just foolish enough to throw away your bonds, and he's strong enough to fight your entire team at once.
The thing is jevil is a Joker card the most powerfull who can "do anything" so for me it makes sense that jevil would be more powerfull then spamtom After all hes the only the card thats truly "free"

The impact of the attacks in this all have so much weight to them. Splitting this between both pacifist and snowgrave routes gave the best of both worlds. This is one of, if not the best animation I've seen for Deltarune.

There's a lot to unpack here. The animation is phenomenal, the expressions everyone has, Ralsei being genuinely frightened, Spamton mocking and glitching out. This video is so good
Things I noticed after watching this animation multiple times: 0:32 Spamton fires an attack at Susie but Kris intercepts it. 0:42 This could be used as a God-Tier Meme. 0:44 The way Spamton spins here to turn his hands into phones reminds me of part of another Spamton animation called HYPERLINK by Frostbyte. Could be a reference. 0:54 This is a reference to an enemy in Splatoon 3 called The Big Shot. The DR community memed about it for awhile. 1:18 This is an idea that the fandom created. The idea is that at some point Spamton fell into Queen's acid lake causing him to look more puppet-like after his skin melted off. 1:35 In the background throughout this section you can see sprites from the game. The first one is Regular Spamton, then the face from the basement, and then Spamton Neo. 2:08 I believe Spamton changes from pink to purple to represent him using the form in his special attack. 2:27 Kris 1v1's Spamton while he's in special attack form. 3:10 Finally here you can see Kris appearing to have a mental breakdown, Spamton hanging from the vines after his normal route encounter, and Kris creating the fountain at the end of Chapter 2 while the TV smiles. Alright that's everything! Holy [Cungadero,] I think this is my new favorite animation!
Spamton and the acid isn't entirely from the fandom. Queen says all the vacation houses in the Acid Tunnel are for people who "shrink from the acid", and it's the only explanation we have for his size. Spamton even mentions vacationing in burning acid at some point, doesn't he?
I know some of these parts are serious and sad but I just love how spamton turned into a literal big shot from splatoon and Kris just got out a splattershot lol

The bit starting at 2:28 is SO stellar, I can't get enough of it. Watching a large character move with that kind of speed instead of being slow and lumbering is so cool, and it just sells the power and menace behind the movements so well.
Dude, this is beyond incredible... The creative liberties taken by mixing the normal and Snowgrave routes is a touch that really delivers the best emotional impact, and combined with the quality of animation and constantly engaging direction, it sets a new bar for Deltarune fan content. Bravo

For me it's 2:42-3:09, especially when his eye twitches. Can't stop watching, it's fascinating. Also, at 2:55, the music even *sounds* like the words "you are all alone". Does make me wonder what Kris (or rather, the Player) says to Noelle when that theme played earlier in the video.
This animation has so much action and emotion in it! Especially the opening scene, in which you can clearly see the horror and "What the f---" feeling Ralsei and the others have(except kris though, for no obvious reason) when they suddenly see this huge monster they've never met before, that Kris apparently had something to do with. There's also another scene where you see Kris being abusive and forcing what they want on Noelle, and how it's scarring(quite literally) to her.
OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING! ANIMATING TO CAMELLIAS MUSIC AND KEEPING UP IS SO IMPRESSIVE AND WORKS SO WELL WITH FIGHT SCENES. ONE OF THE BEST ANIMATIONS I'VE EVER SEEN.
This. Is STUNNING! The fight scenes, hoe smooth and choreographed they are. You can tell how strong Spamton is, in both Pacifist and Snowgrave Routes. I also love the contrast, how Pacifist SNEO is a lot more manic and desperate, whereas Snowgrave SNEO is a lot more menacing and looming. It's terrifying either way. The captions also add another punch, as does the snippets we see of his backstory (the acid and him sitting outside a dumpster) He's equivalent to that of a god, and it's expressed so well here! You did so well, it's amazing!
This is the GREATEST Deltarune animation I've seen so far in these years. The amount of characteristics and personality it gives to each character in this fan animation is beautiful. Kris despite being mostly quiet and having his hair over his eyes shows his beautiful scarlet red eyes more often showing despite being controlled by the player that feels like he's doing this on his own and is adamant about it. There is something special about Fan drawings/Animations on Kris that is so beautiful that I can't describe it properly. The amount of expressions through animation here had my excitement levels risen. Amazing job on this dude.

Excellent work! So many great scenes (camera positions and composition), creative fighting maneuvers, intriguing scenes of Spamton's angst... And in addition to the Normal Route's battle, you also include the Weird Route (Snowgrave) one as well! The pained expressions of Noelle and Berdly were heart-wrenching! You chose an excellent song, and you fit the scenes with the music very well! The drawing is uneven (crooked outlines), but the movement, energy, visual effects, and emotions are so powerful and amazing! I really needed to see this video. I always have this problem: I start, but never finish so many projects, because I'm trying to make them perfect. But they never can be perfect. My hands shake too much. But today, you proved that it is more important for a project to be CREATED, instead of "perfect". It can still be very amazing! Toby Fox had a quote about that too. It's actually part of his design philosophy for Undertale and Deltarune. Not aiming for perfection, but instead sharing your ideas and your heart and soul, which you show in your creation. Even something imperfect can have a strong impact. Undertale COULD have had more details, could have looked better, could have been more fancy... But did it need to be? No. It still made us feel so many emotions, and made such a positive impression on so many people's hearts. And he continues to restrain Deltarune a little bit, for the same reason. He always worried that he couldn't complete it. Even with a team, it is challenging. So he once again is keeping the standards low on purpose, so the game CAN be completed and fully released. But, we already feel such powerful emotions from Deltarune, as well! And you kept that genuine philosophy of Toby's creations, and used it for your own project too! Thank you for this wise lesson, z Ke-san (and Toby-san). I should remember this. "Don't Forget." I'll try to take this inspirational energy with me, when I have time to draw again. I will concentrate on the passion, the emotion, and the concepts themselves. Those can still come from art with crooked lines, even my own. Truly, this work is already amazing. Your dedication, your hard work, and your creativity. You really made us viewers feel the Power of NEO! The bonds of friendship. The horror of psychologically torturing Noelle and Berdly's sense of terror and betrayal. Spamton's tormented past leading him to madness. The mystery of the person on the phone. And such exciting, fast, and strong action! All of this is such an awesome experience for everyone! (But also, you provide inspiration for we who want to create, but feel inadequate. Love the flashes between the normal and Snowgrave routes, seeing Kris go in to cut Spamton's strings only to suddenly see Noelle crying freezing Berdly and wearing the thornring, while watching Spamton falls to the acid or beat Kris down in front of the fountain were such cool cuts (pun intended). Also just love how much power is put into Spamton's attacks, like the pipis flying mach speed at Kris, or his heart flying at them and having to be gunned back.

So it makes sense that I'd be absorbed in which parts of the music go seamlessly with the animation: Spamton NEO is a remix of DR/UT themes and the sampled theme in each scene fits (True Lab, Hopes and Dreams, etc) So yes, marvelling at the animation/music interplay is entirely valid tl;dr - don't hate on important part of this project

You implied you were focusing more on the music than the animation, which seems backwards to me considering the music is uploaded elsewhere and was simply used for this video- the animation is the most unique part of the video. You can look at both and how they connect sure, but treating the music as more important is rediculous.

I can't hear without my subtitles!" 3) "the music is uploaded elsewhere and was simply used for this video" - imho taking existing music and making a video for it is harder than making both yourself, because the music wasn't designed with your project in mind 4) focusing on the music while replaying the video makes it so I can go about my business with the music in my head and remembering the animation that goes along with each note
The intro really sells me on this Spamton character being someone to fear. The way it’s all framed, and the facial expressions of the other characters gives me a familiar feeling of, “oh shit, things just got really bad. Something that wasn’t supposed to happen just happened, and if they fail then horrible things are going to follow.”
I'm glad each chapter has taken so long to come out, because it gives us art like this. I would love it if each chapter took a year or two to come out, because this is how we've been getting so many videos like this!
This was exactly what I've been missing for so long! Your Undertale animations were really great and although I do enjoy your newer content I always have a strange nostalgia for the undertale content. I hope you continue to animate Deltarune related stuff! Great work

I love how Kris wields that really long sword with one hand, and holds up that huge shield so casually. And then they block Spamton Neo’s attacks with one hand! I think that Kris deserves to have superhuman strength in the Dark World, since they can’t use magic.
INSANE!!!! Ahhh so much thrown in here, the amount of detail and work put in... I'd kill for a deltarune show in this style 😭😭 LOVE how it switched back and forth from a normal route to the weird route, just the amount of detail given to everyone, and the dialog gave me chills 😍 the timing with the music, Not to mention those scene flashes at the end...🤩 incredible work, you deserve every bit of praise!!!! Amazing job! I find it unique how beefy abd muscular your Spamton is. I cackled when Kris had a honest to god gun. The snowgrave parts are just 👌. Facial expressions can do a lot, and the spamton backstory going on. The action is so fast and smooth, I loved it. The end part with Kris was kind of like AoT. Amazing stuff, once again.
HOLY CRAP. You should be put in charge of an animation studio NOW. I cannot describe how amazing this animation is. It would be an understatement to say that you are incredibly talented.

Honestly, Spamton NEO is just..REALLY creepy here. People always say that Spamton NEO is easier than jevil, and yes, they are right, but I think Toby was trying to make Spamton NEO more creepy overall. Jevil was more of a comedic character, not having many dark moments, except for his backstory and insanity. Spamton, though, is different, this is a guy who wanted to become big and in the process did terrible things to get there, on both routes. To prove my point, look at this shot at 0:24, that is terrifiyng
I think Jevil is hard as a test for how you would react when pitted against someone chaotic…Toby may be foreshadowing something here with these secret fights

I never really grasped how terrifying of a boss Spamton really was because of how the sprite looks. This gave me a whole new perspective.
I did a whole calculation of how tall spamton neo is and i got that he about thirteen feet tall.

Kris despite being mostly quiet and having his hair over his eyes shows his beautiful scarlet red eyes more often showing despite being controlled by the player that feels like he's doing this on his own and is adamant about it.
There is something special about Fan drawings/Animations on Kris that is so beautiful that I can't describe it properly. The amount of expressions through animation here had my excitement levels risen. Amazing job on this dude.

Excellent work! So many great scenes (camera positions and composition), creative fighting maneuvers, intriguing scenes of Spamton's angst... And in addition to the Normal Route's battle, you also include the Weird Route (Snowgrave) one as well! The pained expressions of Noelle and Berdly were heart-wrenching!
You chose an excellent song, and you fit the scenes with the music very well!
The drawing is uneven (crooked outlines), but the movement, energy, visual effects, and emotions are so powerful and amazing!

I always have this problem: I start, but never finish so many projects, because I'm trying to make them perfect. But they never can be perfect. My hands shake too much.
But today, you proved that it is more important for a project to be CREATED, instead of "perfect". It can still be very amazing!
Toby Fox had a quote about that too. It's actually part of his design philosophy for Undertale and Deltarune. Not aiming for perfection, but instead sharing your ideas and your heart and soul, which you show in your creation.
Even something imperfect can have a strong impact. Undertale COULD have had more details, could have looked better, could have been more fancy... But did it need to be? No. It still made us feel so many emotions, and made such a positive impression on so many people's hearts.
And he continues to restrain Deltarune a little bit, for the same reason. He always worried that he couldn't complete it. Even with a team, it is challenging. So he once again is keeping the standards low on purpose, so the game CAN be completed and fully released.
But, we already feel such powerful emotions from Deltarune, as well!
And you kept that genuine philosophy of Toby's creations, and used it for your own project too!

I'll try to take this inspirational energy with me, when I have time to draw again.
I will concentrate on the passion, the emotion, and the concepts themselves. Those can still come from art with crooked lines, even my own.

Love the flashes between the normal and Snowgrave routes, seeing Kris go in to cut Spamton's strings only to suddenly see Noelle crying freezing Berdly and wearing the thornring, while watching Spamton falls to the acid or beat Kris down in front of the fountain were such cool cuts (pun intended).
Also just love how much power is put into Spamton's attacks, like the pipis flying mach speed at Kris, or his heart flying at them and having to be gunned back.
You know, I didn't even catch how the background was the fountain, I was too involved in the animation and most importantly the music.

So it makes sense that I'd be absorbed in which parts of the music go seamlessly with the animation: Spamton NEO is a remix of DR/UT themes and the sampled theme in each scene fits (True Lab, Hopes and Dreams, etc)
So yes, marvelling at the animation/music interplay is entirely valid

You implied you were focusing more on the music than the animation, which seems backwards to me considering the music is uploaded elsewhere and was simply used for this video- the animation is the most unique part of the video. You can look at both and how they connect sure, but treating the music as more important is rediculous.

2) my vision is shit so I focus primarily on audio cues to give me hints at what's going on, ala "my subtitles! I can't hear without my subtitles!"
3) "the music is uploaded elsewhere and was simply used for this video" - imho taking existing music and making a video for it is harder than making both yourself, because the music wasn't designed with your project in mind
4) focusing on the music while replaying the video makes it so I can go about my business with the music in my head and remembering the animation that goes along with each note

The intro really sells me on this Spamton character being someone to fear. The way it’s all framed, and the facial expressions of the other characters gives me a familiar feeling of, “oh shit, things just got really bad. Something that wasn’t supposed to happen just happened, and if they fail then horrible things are going to follow.”

I really love the way you draw each of the characters, especially Noelle, and the dramatic lighting for the dark world is really effective.

I love how Kris wields that really long sword with one hand, and holds up that huge shield so casually. And then they block Spamton Neo’s attacks with one hand! I think that Kris deserves to have superhuman strength in the Dark World, since they can’t use magic.

Honestly, Spamton NEO is just..REALLY creepy here. People always say that Spamton NEO is easier than jevil, and yes, they are right, but I think Toby was trying to make Spamton NEO more creepy overall. Jevil was more of a comedic character, not having many dark moments, except for his backstory and insanity. Spamton, though, is different, this is a guy who wanted to become big and in the process did terrible things to get there, on both routes. To prove my point, look at this shot at 0:24, that is terrifiyng

I think Jevil is hard as a test for how you would react when pitted against someone chaotic…Toby may be foreshadowing something here with these secret fights
