I have an old sq aluminum Coleman pot with lid useable as fry pan. It came as a kit with the ‘70’s version Single burner Sportster stove. Biggest advantage is square is easier for packing and storage of square packages fit nicely inside rather then taking useable space in the pack. (The stove itself is long gone).
I remember those. Thanks for commenting
Well I really like the square shape of that little set. I especially like that your coffee mug fits inside it. Thanks for sharing Mark.

Thanks for another great overview, Mark and for featuring a Canadian supplier. This appears to be a great little set, and the square design has a number of advantages. Hopefully the company will confirm the type of nonstick coating for you to share.
I have learned that the coating is ceramic and I am good with that. Thanks for commenting
Reminds me of the Box Pot by Firebox, with the addition of a fry pan.
Yes, just a bit smaller. Thanks for commenting
very interesting pot . nice that it is a Canadian company . it is also named after Canada's highest peak .
Thanks for commenting
Looks like it would do well with the firebox scout. Love the square setup
Scout is just a bit bigger. Thanks for commenting
I have the smaller square pot from Firebox with the pizza-stone insert that I've used with a small cup as a dry-bake set-up for one. The larger size of this pot should make this a good "oven" as well if some kind of heat dissipator is used.
I was hoping it was the same size as the new FB pot but it is a bit smaller. I need to find a heat sink that will fit. Thanks for commenting
Just about the perfect cook set. Just the right size. Square cook sets are great. The rounded edges are a plus, and the price in the US is reasonable at $70.00 US. The one negative is the coating. That to me is a deal breaker and will keep me from purchasing.
I have been informed by the company the coating is ceramic which I feel safe using. Thanks for commenting
@@MarkYoungBushcraft in which case I am interested. Thanks!
Great Set Shared Here, Thanks For Your Demo & Thoughts Mark ! ATB T God Bless
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting Terry
Very clever, it's the first square pot I've seen for camping and I can see its advantages. Nice video, thanks.
Great piece of kit for sure. Thanks for commenting
Interesting combo from a Canadian company . Thanks for sharing Mark👍
I had not heard about them before. Designed in Canada, made in China (like most everything else). Thanks for commenting Wade
It’s a unique and clever cook system
Thanks for sharing 👍
It really is! Thanks for commenting Alex
Great cook set and I can see where it being square fitting in better in some spots of my pack. Like the frying of eggs in ghee too! Awesome!
I quite like this kit. Thanks for commenting
Looks good! The non-stick coating is a ceramic glaze apparently, according to the description on broad out. Thanks for the review.
I received an email just after the video was released to say the website had been updated to chow that. Thanks for commenting
Light weight with easy cleanup. Just a couple dehydrated food bags and great for the day hike.
For sure. could fit a fair amount of food in it. Thanks for commenting
I have a French military surplus kit that is also squared. It does make pouring from the corners easier. If you put this kit in your pack while running, you can call it Logan’s Run…………🙃🥴✌️🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
I can't think of anything to say in response😂

That's a nice cook 'set'... always enjoying the vids of yours🤓
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting
@@MarkYoungBushcraft Sir,i dont want to waste your time, but thank you for replay👍🤓
Thanks for the review. The coating looks glossy, so I'm thinking ceramic. I would like to see how it holds up after repeated use. in either case, I would not use metal utensils on it.
Yes, I learned it is ceramic. I am okay with that. I am careful to use low heat and wood or plastic spatula. Thanks for commenting
Thx Mark, looks nice

Good review Mark thanks for sharing YAH bless !
Glad you liked it. Thanks for commenting
Thanks Mark😊
Most welcome. Thanks for commenting
I would think the square shape would help with various stoves. You know how sometimes the stands are too far apart. Also maybe help with those stoves that don’t have the best airflow and choke a little with a big pot on top. Although, for me, it would mean water splashing on me when I wash it, and get to the corner.🙂
True Jim. Using it at 90 degrees on this stove helped a lot with airflow. Thanks for commenting
Looks very nice

Thanks Mark for the review. Nice pot, not so much the nonstick frypan.
I learned it is ceramic which I am okay with. Thanks for commenting
🌷I like your videos. 😊
Thank you! 😃
I wonder if you could use that combo as a double boiler to keep the heat down while cooking eggs (or anything else), and maybe a tin foil lid on top.
Yes, you could. Had not thought of that. Thanks for commenting
$80! Proud of their stuff. How much is the stainless version?........I think I can handle a few grams more.
Don't think they make a stainless version. Thanks for commenting
Interesting cook kit Mark!
But what was the attachment on the aeropress ?????? Cheers
Good eye. Trestle K-Cup adapter. Review coming. Thanks for commenting
I wonder if a Firebox scout stove would fit inside.
I tried. Pot is a bit too small. Thanks for commenting

Thanks for checking.
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Square seems like a good idea 🤔

Grwt video mark I'm definitely interested in this alot of the European armys mess kits are square or rectangular u have seen old boy scout kits that were sorta like this square in nature thanks so much
I am still using my granddad's WW2 German mess kit. Almost the same like the modern one. Not so many changes. Cheap and does the job.
No I haven't. I will look around. Thanks for commenting
The website specs sheet says the coating is ceramic.
Yes, they just updated and sent me the new link. Thanks for commenting
Did the eggs stick? That’s what I wanted to know
Not at all. Using ghee and keeping the heat low worked to keep them from sticking. Thanks for commenting
Is it made in Canada?
China. Thanks for commenting
Web link looks well dodgy.
Updated link. All good. I have picked up stuff from them before. Thanks for commenting
Lost me at a coating
Yes, I found out it is ceramic. Thanks for commenting
I love your videos mark... But your coffee set up is ridiculous!?
LOL... so many ways to make coffee. All are worth trying. Thanks for commenting
@@MarkYoungBushcraft I do like the square shape of that set I may be looking at it
