Looks good.... but will it discharge quicker than the storage discharge function on my Hota D6 Pro? That does seem to take a very long time to go from full charge to storage.

The discharge speed is much faster than that of the charger, because its maximum discharge power can reach 60W.

I wonder if you could parallel discharge without overheating it? To me, one of the best features is you could use lipos to power high input usb c devices without having to constantly monitor to keep them from over discharging. It is actually more useful to me for that function when I think about it. Sometimes I runn my ham radios off of larger lipos and I have an alarm set up to warn me when they are low, but it is kind of bulky and less protected. This would be a far more elegant solution and I wouldn't have to worry about being within earshot. It would just shut down before over discharge. Edit: I guess this would only work well if you can set the rate of discharge though.

These are some pretty cool thoughts. I never though about the parallel discharging, but I dont see why it wouldn’t, especially since it is monitoring each cell. I think if you respect the “rules of parallel charging”, you should be fine. PS: I didn’t t know you were into Ham Radios. My dad has been involved for decades, and still is.

@@OneManUnmanned I think we discussed it briefly on one of your videos when you were flying at your dad's house and I asked about the tower. I actually started in Ham radio because of FPV. Technically you need a technicians license to operate in the 5.8ghz frequencies that we use. I got the tech license, then bought a fairly inexpensive transceiver and became more interested, so got my general during covid. It definitely takes a back seat to FPV in my hobbies, but I do enjoy working mostly digital modes off and on. I've made contacts with over a hundred countries on 20 watts now, again mostly in digital modes. Something to do when I have the time at night or when the weather isn't working for FPV.

I expected it to have a little OLED, could have much more info and a more usable menu with a 4 way stick and an OLED screen.

Will it discharge without having to charge another device?
