Nice info. I went with a different company on a day trip when they had ferries from Miami about 2 years ago. I think this company is more pricy, but it looks bigger and nicer. There were no available carts on the island but a guy gave us a ride to the beach in his truck and when we were walking back, a local stopped and asked if we wanted to ride on his cart. I can't wait to go back.
Timewise only, 2 ½ hours is like going from the heart of Beverly Hills to the small harbor on, still wild, "Catalina Island" in the Pacific Ocean, formerly owned by the Wrigley's chewing gum empire.
Thanks, i am wondering how rocky it was? Like compared to a cruise ship? I do ok on big ships but went on a fishing tri out of Port canaveral and was sick as could be for 8 hours, even with bonine! Would love to try this but afraid of a repeat.
Thank you for this video, I'm planning a trip to FLD (Miami and Ft. Lauderdale) in December 2021 from Canada. What were the covid testing protocols. I'm reading that you must have proof of negative covid test 3 days before departure with your vaccine passport. I'll have a test before leaving Canada but that test will be no good once I plan my trip to Bimini. Did you have to show negative covid test? and do you know where in Miami or Ft. Lauderdale I can get a rapid test to take this day trip to Bahamas. I'm fully vaccinated.
Hi Kimberly. Yeah we had to show a negative test result and then submit that with the “travel passport” Timelines were slim for sure. Not sure about testing locations. Might want to call the ferry direct.
What marina do you come into in Bimini? I did a ferry to Freeport but stayed 2 nites this time just doing day trip to Bimini. I want to see what's near the marina so we can plan out and tryb to see a much as possible
Great informative videos. Never knew of this ferry. We actually booked Ft Lauderdale next month to explore the Nu River after watching your video. Now we may have to book this ferry lol. Thanks for the uploads 👍
Hi Melissa. The way there was smooth as it runs in the am. Mornings usually a bit smoother. On the way back it was a bit rough. We took motion sickness medicine and were fine. Yeah that tram brings you to a central area to rent golf carts. Plenty available. Second stop brings you to the Hilton.
I had a horrible experience with BALEARIA FERRY. They were approximately 6hrs late picking us back up. I thought we were going to be stranded in Bimini. It was frustrating, but overall Bimini was beautiful.

Do you know if we can bring a couple bottles of wine on board not to drink on the ferry but to bring to our room at the Hilton?
Hey guys nice vid. Are we allowed to take food into the ferry
You’re allow a Carrie-on and a bag.
Does anybody know the price round trip? Thanks!

🙏Way there smooth. Was in am. Way back a bit rough. At night. We took motion sickness pills. We were ok. Others not so much.

Do you need a passport for Bimini?
Whats the Cost per person each way and can you stay overnight?
We got a package deal with the hotel and ferry. Total was around $800 for the 4 of us. 2 nights.
What marina do you come into in Bimini? I did a ferry to Freeport but stayed 2 nites this time just doing day trip to Bimini. I want to see what's near the marina so we can plan out and tryb to see a much as possible
Not sure what the marina is called. It’s a huge dock I think for the cruise ships too. Located on N Bimini.
Thinking of going on day or two-day trip to bikini flying into FTLauderdale any other tips/info appreciated! Best times to go too?
Same here. It was fun.
Did you have a place to secure your backpack or luggage? Doesn't look like it from the seating area?
We kept our belongings with us. Not sure if there was storage.
Were there any public beach ⛱ access near the pier?? Love that water!!!
Not sure about right next to the pier. But there are a handful on the island. Favorite is where the shipwreck is.

Very cool 🤙 thanks for watching. Yeah the ferry is definitely worth the experience
@@chasingbeaches I’m guessing you need a passport just like a cruise ship?
Yeah. Definitely. Also was a pain in the ass. Had to get tested for COVID and apply for a health visa.
@@chasingbeaches ugh, thanks for the info👍
🤙🤙
Hello, someone said it was very cold inside the ferry was it on your travel?
Actually AC up top wasn’t working. A bit hot

Hi Nicky. No vaccine needed. Only negative test.
@@chasingbeaches ok. 👍
Hi Chasing Beaches channel. When you traveled to the Bimini Bahamas by ferry did they asked you for a USA passport ?
Yeah 🤙
was the Ferry ride very choppy? I get kinda sea sick on smaller vessels and is that tram take you right from the ferry to the rental golf carts?

Pilot boats are getting the Harbor Pilot off.
The video was awesome! 1 question, what’s the diff between economy and economy premium?
The seating that I.
I think there are sectioned off rooms. But not necessary I don’t think
Thanks for the video!! Did you sit in the economy section on your ferry ride?
Seats are general admission seats
Which golf cart rental company do you recommend?
Not sure if there was even multiple companies. There are dozens sitting waiting in the lot where the tram stops.
Hi thank you for the video
Do you have to wear mask indoors?
Inside the hotel. Not really on the ferry. That’s about it.
I had a horrible experience with BALEARIA FERRY. They were approximately 6hrs late picking us back up. I thought we were going to be stranded in Bimini. It was frustrating, but overall Bimini was beautiful.
Yeah they said it was delayed and to sit tight. We decided to go out to the port regardless. Sure enough it was on time and others missed it
Thanks for this!
🤙🤙
Hi, do you go through customs? Do you need your passport to enter BIMINI? thanks a lot
Yes, you need a passport.
What website did you use to book the ferry?
Hi Ashley.
www.rwbimini.com/bahamas-vacation-specials
@@chasingbeaches Thanks for posting this, I was just wondering how to book.
How did you book this cruise? Also what’s there to do once you arrive in Bimini?
Balleria. Explore the island. Eat good food. Meet good people. Snorkel. Fish.
Its not a cruise its a ferry to the Island
Did you have to pay to park in Fort Lauderdale? Was there a fee at Bimini?
