I'm so happy for North. They played with so much heart and passion. They never gave up. They're moving the ball better and got some guns on their team. Luke Davies-Uniacke and Zurhaar were outstanding. Paul Curtis is a young gun. Simpkin and Goldstein were great. They got lots of room for improvement, so this is a great win. The hunger is there. Great night for the club. I hope they keep building.
What the Roo's did yesterday was a big middle finger salute too the poor coach who had no choice but too step down
I had expected JHF to really stand up this week after missing out last week, especially with Noble getting sacked. Unfortunately he didn't deliver, but plenty of others did. LDU has been insanely good the last two weeks and has finally really come of age. Zurhaar is my favourite player and I just hope that he isn't lost to the club. We should have salary cap capacity to throw good money at him to stay. Curtis is indeed showing signs of potentially being special, which I hadn't expected in his first year.

@@jvkanufan8115 Yes, JHF has perhaps unreasonably high expectations on him. He's had good moments, but he has also been missing in plenty of games. I wonder what draft pick he would have been if he hadn't played that blinder in a losing finals game for his SANFL club last year? Perhaps he is overhyped, but he is still very young. Obviously I don't know, but I got the impression he was really pissed off with Noble, which is why I thought he may have played a blinder yesterday in the knowledge that he no longer needs to deal with him. For now I want to see us do well, but not well enough to risk losing a first round priority draft pick. Apparently this year is a really hot draft, so it would be very useful to get two early picks.

Richmond fan here but GG North. You guys were the better side throughout the game and were more efficient and worked much harder and deserved to win. I love Richmond with all my heart but seriously Richmond, even though we wasted so many opportunities infront of goal, that was a gutless performance. I was hoping that we would learn from our clashes against the swans, cats and suns this year but clearly the tigers have gone back to their 2016 form and right now deserve to miss finals.

Only one team with more premierships this century. 90,000 Richmond supporters at the 2017 preliminary finale. 2 Brownlow medal winners in the last 10 years. We finally won something, let’s go
Disgusted by our performance, it was Absolutely abysmal. We kicked almost all our goals for 40+ Meters yet cant kick a goal inside 30 Meters. Makes no sense. We had about 5 chances or more to Finish the game in the last 10 minutes of the match and blew it so Well done North Melbourne, your club and fans deserve the win 🤝

Richmond were horrible all round. Where were their leaders and stalwarts? Richmond were lazy, arrogant, no passion, no intensity, awful at goal, didn’t respect the opposition. 22 behinds, yet they won the inside 50 count and had many inside 30 set shots. None of them stood up. I can only think of Noah Cumberland giving a crack. He’s an exciting forward prospect and gave that beautiful mark for Aarts. Like Dimma said, it’s not Aarts fault they lost. They were diabolical and didn’t deserve a win.

(ngl though, I felt that pretty much all non Richmond fans were laughing about that) it was pretty much humiliating given that the tigers had all those chances at goal but pretty much blew so many of them that it was not so much North winning it but Richmond just kicking themslves out of it. Now, unfortunately for tiger fans they will have to cop it from pretty much everyone because losing to a side that is on a 14 game losing streak (no offence to north fans btw if you are reading this) is humiliating and if Richmond finish 9th they asked for it.
