in my opinion i would rather see this slow flying in competition .. it's graceful and pleasing to the eye instead of all the flitting around like a bat on L.S.D . :)

This is one of the few videos on youtube I've seen several times. Awesome flight and great bird. Interesting you run it at 6S. Isn't it better to run 2 x 3000mA 6S lipo's and have the 12S efficiëncy? Weight and flight time would be about the same I'd think.
I'm also building a TDR soon and I was wondering, did you stretch the tailboom or is the stock boom sufficient for 800 blades? Any other mods to make it '800' size?

I see the entire spec sheet in the comments. But was the motor/pinion combo changed so that the motor can run in it's efficient range or was the throttle points simply lowered to run that head speed? It's pretty cool either way. Just wonder if it's very sensitive to bogging?
