Dulcineasdiarycontinued - Boasting transporters, interview with someone very important by Radio Station 2GB?? - excuse my ignorance but who is this man Howard Collins being interviewed? Oh he has an OBE and is the " Cordinator General for Transport For NSW" according to his LinkedIn profile.
I didn't get off at Martin place I'm going all the way to Sydenham but the Metro officer in the carriage did not know what would be happening when we arrived at Sydenham - whether we could stay on or have to get off and line up to get back on.
I ended up not getting off Sydenham but staying on but made it to the front of the Metro to video a section of the new Mtero line. A lityle boring in parts but interesting in others note the change in gradients and when the train enters and exits the tunnels.
Reminds me of 1. sky train Vancouver 2. their Evergreen extension line.
