i’m really sorry you didn’t have a fun time with oogey boogie. i did a tournament and went 10-0 with him and still haven’t lost playing as him. I personally feel like he’s one of the most consistent characters to play as.
I listened on my way to work! I didn't realize Lotso was one of the Villains, I love how thematic it sounds. Also very disappointed that King candy, Oogie Boogie, and Mother Gothel didn't hit, those are some of Lola's favorite movies!
You caught us! For whatever reason, we missed the Horned King while filming. He wasn't a favorite and ultimately a C or D tier guy. If we grew up with The Black Cauldron I could maybe like him a bit more, but I'd ultimately rather play other villains
Ursula is by far our least favourite character to play. In The Worst Takes it All, there’s no way to remove the lock token from her board, so you only ever have three areas available to you throughout the game, which is extremely frustrating. I haven’t played the Introduction to Evil version though.
I know she was reworked after the original version you played and I've heard her newer play style is way better. It's a shame, she's such a classic villain you'd want her to be awesome right out of the gate. Thanks for watching!
@@boardgamesfortwo So where would you put him. In my opinion he's the HARDEST cause his 2 points are very easy to counter. Being power starved and getting the cauldron flipped is instant FOLD in my book.
@@SenetTheSnek probably the lowest A tier slot. Horned king has probably the most going on, but was not quite as ‘fun’ as some of our favorites. You could tell the designers spent time with this one as there are a ton of cards that play on each other in this deck. Probably suffers just a little bit due to slow power gain and needing some cards in a decent order (but that’s how some villains are anyway). Don’t know how we missed this one during the list.
He was my 2nd fastest victory. Luck was on my side as I got the cauldron early and kept getting ancient soldiers and cauldron born. Felt like he was unstoppable. Only played him once though
@@boardgamesfortwo I just love the strategy you can do with the Titans abilities and I have won with 4 Titans on Olympus before and using the Chariot a lot for extra plays and move actions.
Yeah, I know they reworked a few of the villains with Introduction To Evil. We didn't play that very original box, so I can't tell you if it was for better or worse!
They didnt change it they added needing robin hood in jail 1 because it thematically makes sense, robin hood would just steal it back in a sense if he wasnt in jail 2 ganing 20 power only was too easy against some villains like creula or gaston
Hades is not near as bad as you think. With smart plays Titans can be untrapped easily. The only big setback Hades gets is when a Titan vanquishes a Hero but that can be played around as well. The chariot is also super good. Hades is my favorite a big top tier for me. Shere Khan and King Candy are my least favorite for opposite reasons. Khan is too fast and King Candy is too slow. Khan is insanely good and King Candy is so hard to win with.
I didn't get the best card draws for Hades so that certainly didn't help his case for me! The chariot is powerful but it came along way too late a few times for me. King Candy is definitely slower, I see what you mean. Thanks for watching!

Shere Khan was my fastest victory by far. Rarely got fire in the realm, no Baloo pulled. I’m thinking this was maybe 15 minutes. It was wild
It's crazy how quick the games can go depending on your deck draws! I ain't mad about it though
I actually won on turn 2 with him with crazy set up and no one fating me, super fun

@@dadsanddice all of the villains were thematic in some way, just some more fun than others. I’m just sad at my boy Gaston :(
@@boardgamesfortwoapparently everyone hits better than Gaston
No Horned King?

I won a tournament because I picked Hook after watching this. Thanks for the win!

My top 5 personal ones to play are Hades my main, Oogie, Pete, Syndrome, and Lotso.

I was so confused with the prince john. they changed how he wins from the original box set.
