- In the Black Community, over 70 percent of children are born in homes without a father present. Only one out of four Black Women will be married in their lifetime. Also, divorce, the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, and a host of other ills are highest among the African-American population. The Black Family has been decimated. The Black Family is in a state of crisis. In this video, we discuss some general ways Islam addresses the issue of family life and how it can help improve the Black Family in America. Islam views sex, family, and the role of parents, and children as sacred. As a result, Islam has clear laws that govern how we behave concerning the various areas of family life. Such laws give us discipline that in turn provide structure for any people who accept to be Muslim. In this video, we discuss how and why Islam can improve the conditions of the Black Family.

Islam is a complete system of monotheistic belief and behavioral norms based on objective morality derived from divine knowledge. Thus, there is no discipline, neither at the levels of individuals, nor communities, nor societies if morality is regarded as a subjective matter. The current state of our dear black communities is alarming and there is an urgent need for guidance separate from corrupt western influences. In Al-Islam, the Quran states that the institution of marriage is between a man and woman. We as Muslims can't change that. To talk about changing that is the same thing as talking about changing the Sun from rising in the East to rising in the West. G-d's word is Law we can't change G-d's Word.

Let's call out the boards that will no longer invite a speaker to the mosques that call out improper behaviors within the local community because he/she is holding up a mirror facing those board members? What about the hypocrites who drive women into the arms of non-muslims because they played deaf, dumb & blind to DV? Excuse, don't cause fitna with rumors. Lastly, may the All Merciful bless parents who don't subscribe to double standards w/their kids i.e, Fatimah has to take a polygraph to prove that she's going to an all girl study group but Hasan can stay out all night & Noone questions the blonde hair on his clothes when his laundry is being done by either his mom or the sister who only got 2hrs w/the all girl study group. That's assuming dad walked in to verify the claim.

The audio is an issue for me when listening with AirPods, especially if using only one pod. It seems to sound fine working through Bluetooth over the car, because you can turn the volume up.
