Great ideas! I really like the idea of dedicating some slower practice on clarity and coordination, while separately practicing some faster tempo exercises with maybe less note changing at first to build the speed. The Arban is my go to as well for this kind of thing. There’s great exercises in there for both of those ideas. Well explained video and great editing!

Sometimes I play an air attack and then follow it with a k tongue. Then I double tongue with a D syllable once. I call it O-kee Do-kee tonguing.

This is excellent, thanks - for triple tonguing, do you prefer "tu tu ku" or "tu ku tu", or indeed something else?

In general, I prefer "tu tu ku". I have spend some time in the past working on other variations, but "tu tu ku" is my go to.
