I’m so glad I found your video…I’ve been so worried I’ve damaged my sight by using my laser. (With goggles) but seeing the science behind it makes so much more sense
I use red acrylic and my 70watt atomstack and you won't even flash through it in a dark room. Its freaking science. You can tell the people who didn't pay attention in school or the people who know everything at work.
Funny thing light - it doesn't need to be pointed directly at the eyes to cause sight loss and you wont see it happen. If you wish to keep your eyesight, I'd recommend you keep away from lasers.
As for keeping a laser facing the ground, the intensity of the light reflecting back is still blinding.
While many cheap laser goggles are insufficient, good laser goggles are effective and required for any basic level of laser safety.
science says otherwise
Better safe than sorry.
I worked with laser too, so I think I can add something to your video. Since you work with lasers that is point down (perpendicular to the ground), I guess you can get away without using safety glasses.
If the laser is parallel to the ground or you are using lens/mirrors to change the beam, it is possible to it hit your eyes, so the safety glasses would be very important. Sorry for my bad english and be safe.
yes. the hobbyists who use blue laser diode machines are only pointed downward. but heat, different types of laser machines are oriented differently.
Is it the same principle with a tattoo laser remover aswel?
i’m not sure, sorry
