Just picked up a '24 SEL AWD a couple of weeks ago, 22% off MSRP. They are giving $7,500 off on '24's, $12,500 off on '23's, so you're essentially grabbing the amount of the federal tax credit, or more. I was going to get a '23, but they had a stop sale on it due to a recall, so the dealer sweetened the deal on a '24 to make it comparable to the '23 promotion. I was planning on getting a hybrid, but the cost got down low enough on one of these that I went EV, instead. I'm in Detroit, so Hyundai's are rare as it is, and I've only ever seen one other Ioniq 6 on the road, but I enjoy that uniqueness of it. The performance adds some fun to the daily drive, too.
Thanks for the video. I’m looking at getting an EV in the next six months and the Ionig 6 wasn’t even on my radar until I read a review on Edmunds where they gave it their No. 1 ranking for EVs below $50,000.
I saw that exact same colored ioniq 6 on the highway yesterday it was the second time ever I’ve seen one that wasn’t in the dealership😂 other than the great review I plan on upgrading from a 2014 sonata limited to this
@@BrosFOURRSpeed as most people say "better for the environment" plus I wanted to for a while I’ve got ride in plenty of electric cars and even drive one it’s just very unique you could say so different from gas cars which most of the world is use to. So yeah that’s why
@@pureniku they aren’t better for the environment at all…factories that build gas cars are similar to how EV’s are build. They actually pollute more to mine the batteries than anything, and how do you dispose of a large battery?? People think that, but it’s false. When the battery dies, you’ll be spending more to replace it than the car is worth, just something to think about.
Oh fun fact: the trim accents are actually there as a replacement for our European friends who can get rear view cameras and have no rear view mirrors at all. So those bits are where the always on video screens are. But that's illegal in the US thanks to the NHTSA because they can't get with the times.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Multiple. What I’m referring to specifically is their massive pricing deviations from what Hyundai corporate was listing and advertising. I understand some variance, but they were vastly, vastly higher. They basically said Hyundai can advertise what they want but they don’t have to abide. Ha! Pass.
well it differs from dealership to dealership the Hyundai dealership I went to test drive their sonata hybrid, they were extremely nice and understanding. This upcoming week I’ll be going back to test drive a ioniq 6
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 9:20--9:27 you said "window controls" and "you can fold them"....they are MIRROR controls that fold mirrors not windows......look again.

Glad you enjoy it!
I just got my Limited AWD 2024 a couple weeks ago. There's so much tech for nerds like me.
lol nice!

I’m not an EV fan, it’s alright, I’d still with gas, but enjoy it.

What makes you want to go from gas to full EV?

Oh intersting
I was looking at leasing one of these but the Hyundai dealers were scumbags so I decided to hold off.
Plural? Could always try another dealer.

Kia dealerships aren't any better. I was seriously considering purchasing a Kia EV6.
What’s interesting is this particular model doesn’t even sell. They should be giving these away.

Maybe soon, I will be able to buy this EV car.
Its an option for sure!
