Vengayam poondu are not harm full to health. Infact they both give not only taste but also have medicinal values. Simply because brahmins of yester years avoided it they must not make it a high virtue.i know a relative sasthri who will eat onion bonda on the evening in roadside eatery on days when he ate bramanartham. He is aunts daughters husband lived in paramour Chennai. Another sastri son in E. Tambaram will buy masal bonds in daily fresh restaurant there on a manasai days. Brahmin boys are eating in multicusine hotels. All my sisters houses eat onion poondu in food . So many brahmin family eat onion brinjal drumstic even a day before the day of srartham in their home. So just don't preach such things. Can cook food with or without onion garlic .b But it is not a big virtue.
it is just like Vegan , some prefer. The reason they are reiterating is that still it is tasty and who prefer without onion and garlic have this option through this shop. But agree on your points as well, Onion garlic inclusion not a vice
@rangarajannarasimhan34It is not a problem either way. As there are people who eat veg only and people who eat non veg this too can be there.once my home never used garlic. Onion will be only on the day before divali. All changed now. It is up to people.
