Water is not the most popular topic there is - and I'm just a drop in the ocean. All I'm hoping is, that we'll have a collective wake up call before the World does it for us (the Water Crisis IS happening, and for a while now...) Thanks a lot for the very kind feedback!
I'm not sure I'd qualify myself as an "expert" - I'm just a water engineer, like many hundred thousand others. I'm blessed to have spoken to a number of experts who dared to spend some time with me. So I'm striving to get some of their wisdom with me after each of these conversations 😀
Thanks for your nice presentation and interesting reflections. We need more awareness! I believe there is untapped potential in the public sector as well, which is NOT business as usual. In many countries, governments could and should increase public funding and subsidies, especially in places where it will have a disproportionate impact in LMICs for example. They often have the funds but invest it otherwise as you have alluded to. This is going to be critical for SDG 6 precisely since universal access isn't required to address the business / commercial risks you have highlighted. That said, as long as we can merge the business and universal access interests then it can be win-win. But that is work to do and as it is not self-evident! Let's keep tackling this from many angles! Thanks again!
I think you’re very right. All tracks will have to deliver, one way or the other. I just happen to be a bit disillusioned with the “conventional” public track (my bad: I had hopes for the UN Water Conference last year, so the disappointment went along!) To your unconventional approach point, I’ll be interviewing Gary White from Water.org in a couple of weeks. I think their approach to micro-credit is the kind of “thinking outside of the box” that has proved the most effective in the last two decades. Ultimately all roads lead to Rome, assuming we all agree we’re serious about going to Rome 😅 (and thanks for the very kind feedback!)
You put a lot of big numbers on the screen but i don't really understand what is the actual solution, nor do i have any clue if there is anything i can do about it.
I’d say knowing is the first step towards caring! The big numbers also have a significant impact on many lives; there are a bunch of ways anyone can help with this. 🙂
I thought it was a bug when I saw the number of views, this video deserves more attention!

Im genuinely surprised at how little subscribers and views you have, your content is on par with channels orders of magnitude bigger
Thanks a lot for the very kind feedback! That means a lot to me. 😃

The heatwave just ended in SEA. It's been raining for 2 days non-stop.
