I feel like this part of the game with More hit in my life at the moment it could hit me the hardest and I love this game for that.

Interestingly, the soundtrack in the fight with Louis is "Human by name", which plays when you fight with humans (I see what you did, Atlus). And his design is so cool: all the tribes and deadly sins + fear are depicted on the wings. And on ribbons are parts of human body, and figures depicting life and death, I suppose? and his name is Archdemon Louis Charadrius 👀
My two cents about Louis and the problem in general: In fact, I think that existing system was quite functional, and lasted for hundreds of years until Forden. He decided to use his power and first make church, and then himself the absolute ruler, because of this there was an attack on Sanctum, and as a result, Louis we know appeared. And Forden and Louis began to destabilize the country together with their struggle for power, plus Louis, who likes to blame people for inability to cope with anxiety, himself initiated most of it by throwing monsters here and there. System with the Scepter is essentially similar to a storm drain, it works to remove excess, but fails if the flow is too strong. And the only way to fix this is actually to prevent "overflow" - mass hysteria. People with power and resources should ideally think about well-being of society, and not about selfish desires, about maintaining a level of calm and high morale in the country, then society will respond similarly, with optimism and civil initiatives. If their actions only generate fear and uncertainty, society will also respond, but many times stronger. The protagonist and co think about how to make people happy, from individual cases to the country as a whole, and Forden and Louis failed as rulers in this regard.
All this, it must be said, is truly universal, whether for the world of Metaphor or for ours🥲 To hope, to believe in ideals amidst all the chaos that is happening now is really hard, but if we stop believing and trying to do at least something better, even just by helping each other, then it is the same as giving up.

And yes, I cried too. This was such a gut-wrenching game. One of the best Atlus has done, and that's saying a lot.
More came to be when Louis killed the King and that split the Prince.
I thought More would be the very first King and that the scroll would end up being the King list. But I did hope for a fight with More. Imagine a velvet room boss fight with the true Igor!
Also, Louis is such a great villain.
Edit: And it will be okay Analog. I am now 47, having had to bury a child and currently struggling with my own mental health issues. Life is not easy, but it's the only one we have and that alone makes everything worth it. And things will get better, but it takes time and work.

At one point in my life, I became so jaded, to the point where everything feels bleak 😂 but these days, I was thinking that I'd rather live my life with so much hope, and eventually, die with it, even if it might end up only as something that's failed to be realized, at least I hang on to that hope no matter how badly life's beating me down.

I think this game hell this *playthrough* was started at the perfect time. Yes, the world is shitty right now, but holy hell, does this game fill me with the resolve to keep trying. I really cant express my feelings into words. But god am I glad went along on this journey. (Also i relate with the crying bits. Man this game hits. Sorry for getting emotional in the comment section.) But i cant wait to see how this game ends. Its hit such a high, and i dont know if it can top it.
I played this at the right time for it to hit me as hard as it possibly good. It was very cathartic, I kinda needed it.

I don't want to drag real world politics into this, but I think you should check out what Serbian college kids have been doing last three months. I think you would be impressed.
In a way, just as the church benefitted from people's anxiety in this game, the religious systems that exist within our world also benefitted from people's anxiety too, don't you think, Ben? I don't want to go into the nitty gritty detail, but I suspect you know how 'religious politics' work as well as I do.
In a way Moore story is kind of like Louis they were both betrayed by someone they trusted
Plus the super boss is nuts you can only fight it in the post game it is a giant red dragon in a book called the book of the apocalypse
