Ceramic grills are great! I've owned 2 different ones in the past, huge fan but I like trying new things! I'm sure I will have a ceramic again one day in the future. 🍻
No I don't take it out but I do pull it away from the wall a bit. Easy way to tell is to feel the wall around it when it's on and see how hot it is, then you know how far away you need it. 🍻
Thanks for showing the shack layout. I am currently getting ideas for my outdoor kitchen and I really like yours. I have an Oklahoma Joes offset smoker and Kenmore charcoal/gas grill. Looking at getting the pizza oven and flattop griddle.
Thanks! Ya for some reason they don't advertise that unit anywhere online, I bought it locally in Canada and haven't seen it anywhere else. Might be discontinued? 🍻
I subscribed after seeing this. Great set up. The only thing I would do different. Make all your cooking live fire. If we ever end up in a war. Being able to use trees would be ideal ( I made this comment before the off-set smoker was revealed). Soot is dirty. When a person does not have access to electric or propane? Wood is the only option. Still a great set up!!!
It does not have a collector box and the stack is high on the side correct, this is probably the most common style made. Take a look at a Yoder smoker. I'm not saying this is the best example of an offset but this is what I have. 🍻
I try to keep everything as clean as possible, and I use peppermint oil occasionally around the shack for rodents. Insects and spiders do make their way inside and that's just a matter of brushing away the webs etc as needed. 🍻
Nice setup!
Thanks!! Appreciate it!
What about a ceramic grill? There is an oblong one that’s great.

Hi. Do you have a design plan for your shack? I’m wanting to build one just like this. It’s awesome !
Thanks! No not really, I made up a rough sketch to figure out how much lumber I needed then just kinda winged it!
This may be a dumb question, but how do you keep your griddle and smokers from getting wet during rain. Wonderful set up !!
All the grills under the roof in the shack don't really get any rain and the ones I keep outside of the shack have fabric covers to keep them dry. 🍻
Dude great tour! I hope you keep uploading, i just subscribed. 😁
Thanks! Appreciate it!! It's been a crazy year for me, working on a new set up so hopefully uploading again soon! 🍻
Do you take the Flattop out of the shack when using it? The heat they put off has me worried about being so close to the sides of the shack.

Nice cook shack! I have both those PK’s and highly recommend them both. Get that offset rolling…there’s no better BBQ than an offset, 🔥
Thanks! Right on, great grills!! Appreciate the feedback, I look forward to firing up the offset again! 🍻

Thanks! Those 2 grills would give you the whole deal!! Good luck on the shack! 🍻
Hey great review. Can't find that masterbuilt fryer. Can you drop a link? Or is it discontinued?

I love live fire cooking! Thanks 🍻
Very nice .! Love the tool box and storage compartment...❤ what brand are these .? Love the set-up..thanks for the tour !
Thanks! Appreciate it! One is a husky and the other a mastercraft. 🍻
Very nice setup. I'm going to "borrow" some ideas from you.
👍
Thanks!! Appreciate it!🍻
about to build mine - this gives me some great ideas - cheers from England
Awesome!! 🍻
That offset smoker looks like a suspect. No smoke collector and the smoke stack is attached too high on the side of the smoker.

Lets see your set-up, Mr. BBQ.
How do you keep rodents and insects out of your shack?
I try to keep everything as clean as possible, and I use peppermint oil occasionally around the shack for rodents. Insects and spiders do make their way inside and that's just a matter of brushing away the webs etc as needed. 🍻
Thanks for the advise. The possibility of drawing rodents closer to the house has kept me from doing some sort of outdoor kitchen. Do you have a sink?
I don't but I would love to add a nice big commercial style sink for cleaning the large racks, pans and grates in. 🍻
Sounds like this would be a very popular video.
Did you build your shack?
Yes, I did. 🍻
Nice set up! Built an outdoor kitchen myself. Love it. Look forward to more videos!
Thanks! It gets the job done! That's awesome!! Appreciate it! 🍻
