Why hasn't lego made a minifigure scale starkiller base yet?

It would be awsome if the LEGO STAR WARS comunity could spend bricks to build one huge minifig scale Star ship.
it would cost millions of dollars for some of the larger ones, would take many many many years to build, and even if there was a place to build it, the weight of it would crush the lego bricks, and technic parts toward the bottom. id say the biggest that is feasible would be the ones comparable in size to the bus. Even that size is pushing it
There's a guy out there that made the corvette that the Rebel Alliance use from the Galactic Civil War period. Its massive!

We got a command platform and an A wing hanger, that's not the Home One lol. It's virtually indistinguishable from the command deck of any other Mon Calamari ship. We should have an actual mon cal ship.

This video is actually kinda helpful. I've always wondered how big a Lego model of the planet Earth would be if built to Minifigure scale. I always figured it might take a warehouse or two, but I didn't consider that it might engulf an entire city. Thanks for the insight.
A Minifigure scale earth would have to be 36 times smaller than in real life as Minifigure scale is at a scale ratio of 1:36 or just like the former super asteroid/moon (some people think it's a moon some people think it's a asteroid) Proteus

I actually used that Lego stud converter a while back to calculate the length of the Super Star Destroyer and they got it right. Roughly the same as the height of the Sears Tower. More than 1400 feet.

They also recycled the Tie Defender and Tie phantom under different names. even HK 47 got a cheesy Disney counterpart in Mister Bones

The reason legends has been made non-canon was not because disney thought everything about it was bad, they did it so it was easier to make their own canon. They have stated multiple times that they would pick a lot of good things from legends (Thrawn, the ships you just mentioned and maybe even the old republic as we've seen Malachor in rebels as well) to make them officially canon. This gives them more freedom while cleaning up the continuity errors of legends *plus* the idiotic things for example palpatine clones in one go.
Disney's canon is new and not as expanded as it's ''legends'' counterpart but give it time and it will include just as much of the good stuff *Without* things like palpatine clones or Yuuzhan Vong for that matter :P.

Lucasfilm made that decision, just like every other decision made since Disney bought Lucasfilm and in 5 years barely any of you idiots have learned that it wasn't Disney's idea to bring them back. And no, it's not even a competition on whether or not anything from legends is better than anything Lucasfilm have given us since Disney's owned them. Legends was and always will be garbage which is great because now all of it is nothing more than fanfiction.

legobdr a Nebulon-B frigate would be perfect to start off with. Some Rebel leaders and they can include midi scale fighters that can fit a minifig pilot.

Well whenever I scale a ship is use Star Wars battlefront as reference and from what I can tell, most of the fighter ships ex: tie fighter are way too big but the y-wing is about right

you should have put the diameter of the death stars and star killer base because i know that the death star would be over 3K in mini figure scale and i its just one more piece of info
Is the Cavegood AT-AT walker actually in minifigscale ? If you take a look at a scene from the Empire strikes back, you can see how big the walker is compared to Luke Skywalker. And if you put the Lego Rogue One AT-ST set next to the leg, it should reach up to the middle of the legs of the AT-AT walker. I did some research in Star Wars Battlefront, but the walkers there are not in the right scale, because the crewmembers should be able to walk through the neck without crouching. I am currently building a walker myself and I am trying to build it in the perfect size. But this video was very great ! 👍

After viewing this video, I can now understand why lego uses play scale; even if we're just thinking in terms of people's enjoyment rather than cost, complete minifig scale would be impractical, even for most collectors, as most of us just don't have the space to display such massive ships. So, all things considered, I don't object to there not being more minfig scale items. HOWEVER, I do think that their play scale could stand some improvement. It's not such a problem when you have just starfighters and maybe a couple millenium falcons displayed next to each other, but when something like the Consular-class cruiser, Republic Frigate, or Tantive IV is displayed near them in play scale, it becomes quite jarring to see something that should be quite larger be roughly the same size. This becomes even more apparent when you put a Venator-class Star Destroyer, Imperial Star Destroyer, or the Malevolence next to them, as it's downright silly how similar in size they are. I'm not asking for minifig scale, but play scale should be improved so there is size distinguishment made between a light freighter, a frigate, and a star destroyer. There should also be more cabin room inside a corvette/cruiser, as at the current default configuration, the lego Millenium falcon has more cabin room than lego's version of the Tantive iv or the Consular-class Cruiser/Republic Frigate.

a minifig is about 1/48 of a human. To get the real life sizes you multiply by 48. imagine 48 empire state buildings stacked on yop of each other.

wish they had a bigger scale that made it so there is compatibility between sets. so a frigate that can carry a number of smaller vehicles as they realistically should, i like sets where you can store mini-figs inside. a transport can really transport a few squads. maybe even make a custom line to make this model match for experimentation

I’m actually trying to build a mini figure scale cruiser (not from Star Wars or anything) with plenty of levels, a hangar bay and stuff, and it would actually cost billions of pieces. But let’s try :)

In the board game Halo fleet battles, if you would scale the size accurately with the small ship models they give you, the longest covenant ship (the CSO-class supercarrier) would be like six feet long. When the other models are like a few inches long.

The eclipse class star dreadnought was 3-4 times larger than the executor/ super star destroyer. But you had the executor as bigger than the eclipse. Just letting you know.
