Clorina can push herself with s1 which messes speed tuning, Gunther is better option coz of his passive attack increase. My SSV has 7k attack on her gear, meanwhile Gunther is 9.3k.
@d34thscyth34 the chances that player have Gunther build is slimmer than paper. Everyone would have Clorina built because she's used in other PvE content. It would be a waste of resources to level up Gunther just for this rotation of HoT. When you're using Clorina, you're not after the top 100 but to get at the very least SSS+ which is why the CR push should not be an inconvenience.
If you don't have Schniel like me and happy with reaching around 1-5% you could run Emilia/Destina in front, then Achates, Yufine/Ftene, SSVivian/Clorina.
