I really hope I don't sound ungrateful or as if I'm trying to be unkind, but I wonder if they pick some of these people on here because of their fame, not for the photographic prowess. This guys photos and story are interesting, but certainly not a portfolio that I would get excited about. There are lots of 'ordinary' photographers I know (perhaps including myself), whose body of work is much more powerful and interesting than what I've just seen here.

Listen and see! Good photos come from living and seeing. Take images all the time! If you need inspiration do something else.. The photos are superb.
