Girl..next time try colour oops. Also when bleaching NEVER start at your roots! 1. Its virgin hair so will pull more than the rest 2. The heat from your head will cause it to develop faster than the rest. And try sectioning your hair so you don't miss those inside spots

I love the end result though! Just minus those black spots

Color remover would have definitely helped a lot before bleaching ❤️ but the orangey yellow is pretty cool

I went from black to purple on one side of my head and I had to bleach it 4 times and it still didn’t lighten enough. Black is cool if you want it for a long time, but it’s a bitch to get out when you want to change it, this video represented my entire struggle I love it

heads up with lunar tides - you get a MUCH more vibrant color if you put it on hair that's completely dried, i usually let mine air dry for a couple hours and then blowdry it afterwards to make sure there's no moisture. the first time i did their pastel pink on my towel-dried hair, it almost didn't show up at all. next time i did it on completely dried hair and made sure to really saturate it into the strands and holy cow, it was such a beautiful pastel pink for weeks. next time you use lunar tides keep that in mind, but your hair still turned out looking super pretty!

Never bleach the roots first! It’s the worst thing you could possibly do, they process the fastest. If you go back in you need to at least put on a shower cap to hold the heat in, your ends need foil or they’ll never lift

ah i messed up, well shit, the roots turned out fine somehow haha no hair falling out or anything. and ok good to know about foil & shower cap! i did not know that, thank u!

posergrave just because it didn’t immediately fall out doesn’t mean the integrity hasn’t been compromised. It’s going to break off super easily the entire time that part of your hair is attached to your head so probably years. Common fucking sense

I would give it a little trim, wait a week or so and bleach it again if you want but use a low vol developer, it may take more sessions but it's worth keeping the integrity of your hair trust me lmfao. Ive found using a higher quality bleach helps a lot with damage (idk which one you used lol but I recommend blonde me by schwarzkopf!). Also make sure you really saturate the hair, slap that shit on heavy and it wont be patchy. Avoid your roots bc they're already processed enough and you don't want to over process them. Get the dye out of your hair before bleaching it again (tons of diys here on yt for that) bc if you bleach it w the color in your hair itll like go deeper in your hair follicles if that makes sense? Idk science but bleaching over hair dye can make it insanely hard to get out, that's what happened to me anyway.
Alsooooo I never heard of that dye but it looks cool and I want to try it 😂
Anyway it looks pretty cool tho imo! Sorry for writing a book lol I'm not a hairdresser, this is just from my experience bleaching my hair multiple times 😂 hope I helped

omg thank u so much, don't apologize for writing too much! thx for the bleach recommendation, i normally just buy whatever i see at sallys at the time and o m g i had no clue that bleaching over color had that affect, tysm for warning me!! i would've totally done it haha. ugh i should've waited then to color it, oops, lesson learned i guess. & yess def u should try it too, hopefully you'll do a better job than me haha

It’s always better to use a color stripper before bleaching to better help lift that dark dye out
