    The fact that you did all of this with hand tools minus the drill is really inspiring. I'm getting started in robotics and this showed me that I don't need a bunch of fancy power tools to build parts. Thank you!

    first off i have to hand it to you for making these with hand tools. I've been making one of these at work for the last couple months and have access to much better tools like end mills and surface grinders and its still a lot of work. second,i was running into allot of problems getting the slot for the trigger group to drill straight since the bit wants to skip off the grain when it hits it so i ended up making a self contained drop in trigger group which not only makes lining everything up a whole lot easier. also if i make another one, all i have to do is unbolt it and switch it over. anyways, keep up the awesome work.

    • @WeaponTutorials
      @WeaponTutorials  7 років тому +1

      Thanks, Yeah it takes a lot of time to make one of these, especialy with hand tools, sometimes it took me like 1 hour to cut something that someone can cut in 5 min with power tools. It sounds very interesting, because I also had a lot of problems with that, but I found out that if you start drilling with the smaller bits like 1-1.5mm and expand it with a small file it should be very straight. Thanks again!
