The fact that you did all of this with hand tools minus the drill is really inspiring. I'm getting started in robotics and this showed me that I don't need a bunch of fancy power tools to build parts. Thank you!
Every "How-to" video should follow your no nonsense get right to work format! You demonstrate very impressive skills - and no messy injuries! What brand of files and saw blades are you using?

nice Crossbow man, BTW i noticed wath you dit in your intro. The red dead redemption 2 picture for a split second. nice seeing another fan of red dead redemption ;)
first off i have to hand it to you for making these with hand tools. I've been making one of these at work for the last couple months and have access to much better tools like end mills and surface grinders and its still a lot of work. second,i was running into allot of problems getting the slot for the trigger group to drill straight since the bit wants to skip off the grain when it hits it so i ended up making a self contained drop in trigger group which not only makes lining everything up a whole lot easier. also if i make another one, all i have to do is unbolt it and switch it over. anyways, keep up the awesome work.
Thanks, Yeah it takes a lot of time to make one of these, especialy with hand tools, sometimes it took me like 1 hour to cut something that someone can cut in 5 min with power tools. It sounds very interesting, because I also had a lot of problems with that, but I found out that if you start drilling with the smaller bits like 1-1.5mm and expand it with a small file it should be very straight. Thanks again!
get alot of old shopping bags and cling wrap stuff it in a box for target back drop ask for cling wrap from stores its use to wrap pallets of goods in transit
today I was shopping for needed parts -and small sheet of steel for the main base is so hard to find because small ones have holes for bolts all around them and without holes there were only one meter big plates...

Aluminum is definitely not strong enough and both that and the wood frame I tried to use, stripped twice
Gute Idee
How long is the String you used? :)
You said that it's out of a Fishing String but never how long it is...
Sry for language ;)
today I was shopping for needed parts -and small sheet of steel for the main base is so hard to find because small ones have holes for bolts all around them and without holes there were only one meter big plates...
I got those for free, but yesterday I was looking in hardware store for some aluminum plates and i couldn't find it, but I found some on ebay
You need a table top grinder in a big way.
What were you drilling in order to make the pipes?
it would suck to drop somethings from that vice and have to go downstairs and get it (assuming he's on the second floor)
My name is Barry Allen, and I'm the fastest crossbow maker alive
:DD
I'd like to see what this dude could make in an actual machine shop.
which minibow has better range / power.. the one with round wheels or the one with double hartshaped wheels?
With double cam system
Hello, Good day, I would like to know if you have for sale the crossbows and bows that you make?... I am from Mexico.
wow just wow
JapasonLP wewuttowotbrbesz.
About the sawblade you used. Does it need to be an extra flexible one or a normal one?
Just a regular one :D
Raduka Would it make a huge difference to use a flexible one?
Probably not big difference
Raduka I'll have fun playing around with this! thanks for the idea!
Hello ! Good job ... where do you find the ropes, cables and clamps? For your crossbow ... thank you

Maybe 7-8 working hours
Is there a part two? I'm not seeing it.
Yes, check my last video :)
Found it. Very cool.
seems a bit dangerous having a second-story workshop like that. Dropping tools and raining shards of metal from grinding...
But this is the only I have, hopefully one day I'll be able to make something better!
Some of parts you don't need make it by your self.
Of course, but I wanted to make this full homemade
err.... heard of washers?
Only criticism is, do you think a teacher teaches their class without saying a word and just pointing? No? Then you should probably talk.
MangoTango it's pretty fuckin self explanatory...
MangoTango I think he did great
Flash made this crossbow? xD 2:10
