Tongues prays the perfect will of God. Although your mind may say, what is this? The spirit man knows. The Holy Spirit will help you to pray. He goes along side us. Things may be going on in the spirit and your spirit will be troubled, then you pray in tongues and the spirit knows the deep things of God. There is absolutely nowhere in Scripture that says that speaking in tongues by the Spirit is a "written language" as you falsely claim. The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians chapter 13 clearly says that it is tongues of Angel's. The reason why Acts lists the account of people of many different countries coming and hearing the 120 in the upper room speaking in their languages on the day of Pentecost, was exclusively for a witness to them. They knew that these people were not capable of speaking all of these languages that they were not native to and they realized it was only because GOD'S Spirit by the Holy Ghost filled their mouths, so they repented and were saved, and 3,000 was added to the church that day. Yet when tongues are spoken in an "unknown language" as the Apostle Paul wrote, it was with the tongues of Angel's. That's why it is called an unknown language because there is no language on this earth that can understand it. It is not of man but of the same language of heavenly Angels. That's what it means to pray in the Spirit, and it is for self edification. A language between a Spirit filled believer and GOD. That no man can understand except GOD, his Angels and the person praying if GOD chooses to reveal it to him or her. I had these goal of praying in tongues for an hour for i havent tried it yet, so on the 1st day i was so happy i made it, but the 2nd day i got a soar throat and i lost my voice totally, i know deep inside that the enemy is stopping me from praying ,so i still continue praying. On the 3rd day i still cant talk all that comes out from my mouth is air, so when its my prayer time still i prayed in tongues for more than an hour but this time i asked God to restore my voice after i pray. So as i sing my last song WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME i was shocked that i felt my throat got lighter so i tried to utter a word and i was able to say it , thats why i sang the song loudly and cried so hard for the miracle. God is so amazing. Really powerful and wonderful.

To the commenters below who say it's "rubbish", how is it that everyone's receiving Jesus and getting water baptized and come out of the water with their own personal language God gives them? If you honestly have a problem with what God chooses for His children then you really do have a problem. This gift being given and expressed didn't stop after Pentecost (like so many believe because they don't spend time in the Word). The book of Acts covers 20-30 years and in Acts 19 Paul comes upon believers who had never heard of this (sound familiar?). He prayed for them and they received and that was @ 20 years AFTER Pentecost! These are examples of receiving your own personal language to edify (improve, build up) your relationship, which Jesus really desires. The tongues in church spoken of is entirely different and given to edify the body. If you understand they are different, the scriptures will become clear.

My dad every morning he prays and I can hear him speaks in tongues. He is 84 years old now. He has COPD which is incurable. The doctor told us that his lungs will not function after 3 years. This diagnosis was done last 2021. This month will gonna be exact 3 years since that day. I praise the Lord,Dad is still living up to this day.

Around 20 years ago my tongues changed to Biblical Hebrew, it is funny to understand almost half of what I am saying in tongues. Sometimes I hear Chinese, Arabic, French, and other human languages spoken in tongues in my congregation. God is doing something among us, that He has not announced to us. Healings and other miracles are going on in my congregation. This is the time of revival in our land. One missionary said that it feels like he is in Africa meeting cause the Holy Spirit power among us is so strong.

To the commenters below who say it's "rubbish", how is it that everyone's receiving Jesus and getting water baptized and come out of the water with their own personal language God gives them? If you honestly have a problem with what God chooses for His children then you really do have a problem.
This gift being given and expressed didn't stop after Pentecost (like so many believe because they don't spend time in the Word). The book of Acts covers 20-30 years and in Acts 19 Paul comes upon believers who had never heard of this (sound familiar?). He prayed for them and they received and that was @ 20 years AFTER Pentecost!
These are examples of receiving your own personal language to edify (improve, build up) your relationship, which Jesus really desires. The tongues in church spoken of is entirely different and given to edify the body. If you understand they are different, the scriptures will become clear.

For example, I do not understand "falling out in the spirit," and it seems almost demonic to me, but i will not say anything definitively about something that was not revealed to me by God. Alots of Baptist church do not believe in speaking intongues just like here.....I am the only one believe it...
Around 20 years ago my tongues changed to Biblical Hebrew, it is funny to understand almost half of what I am saying in tongues. Sometimes I hear Chinese, Arabic, French, and other human languages spoken in tongues in my congregation. God is doing something among us, that He has not announced to us. Healings and other miracles are going on in my congregation. This is the time of revival in our land. One missionary said that it feels like he is in Africa meeting cause the Holy Spirit power among us is so strong.

GoD say when people pray in tongues or atleast a hr a day they r far less likely to get in trouble for non pretending to be His Child and Believer. Thats all it is. They are More likely to have “conditions” like being a see er of unseen etc which they in uk call mentally ill, or being Bible serious. If folk having non literally visions etc are to avoid asylum in uk/europe/israel etc praying in tongues under breath unheard in natural-is advisable.
