This is my first video of unboxing and review of the products and tools that I buy online for my workshop. If you like this video, then please tell me through your comments so I am bring up more unboxing videos and review videos.
So I got this ratchet and socket set from flipkart a couple of day ago. I tested it under heavy loads and it was able to handle those pretty well. I didn't slipped and most of the flipkart reviews I read claimed but still I would recommend this for light and sometimes medium applications. The cost of this ratchet is very less and the quality is not the best but pretty decent. I conclude it to be worth buying if you are a hobbyist like me. I have watched many review videos for this but all said that the blue coloured tool is a spare of rachet but u told the truth thanks for u valued info
I am also using the sockets in this set for heavy duty work and it has never let me down. The ratchet is of fair quality but the socket set is heavy duty

It is not advisable to use ratchet directly on car wheel nuts. as it might break socket(General) and ratchet teeth. One has to loose it by using deep ring spanner (special one)torx type ,some time even by using wood hammer, along with socket and "L" handle. Once nut loosened, change to ratchet. Car wheel nut loosening must be done with *impact socket* which can take light wood hammering.Shallow offset ring spanners are best to loosen wheel nuts. One always need combination of spanners, impact socket, wrenches, ratchet, L handle,wood hammer. One set may not be convenient for different vehicle.
Ratchets ain't meant to loosen up the lug nuts in a car. You can use a 1/2 drive breaker bar along with a heavy duty socket to first loosen the lug nut and then use the ratchet to loosen it all the way. The lug nut of a car are generally torqued to about 100 pound feet of torque. Ratch is bound to get broken if used to loosen a lug nut. Never use the box end of a spanner to do this task. Otherwise the lug nuts may be damaged. And always use a precision TORQUE WRENCH to tighten it upto spec (generally 100 pound feet of torque). And obviously, this cheap ratchet set ain't mean for cars😂. It's only ment for light to medium work only. For cars, you'll need to buy breaker bar, torque wrench ( 3/8inch and 1/2 inch drive), Ratchets (good quality ones), impact sockets, ratcheting spanners(cause they save a lot of time) and if possible, an impact wrench as well.
Aliva?? That's Aiwa.. this tool set is not that much of low quality.. attachments are of very good quality.. rachet is of medium quality but it doing my work 👍😊

@@firdaus9244 that blue thing can be mounted on the drive of the ratcheting wrench. It can be useful when the bolt you're trynna undo is not having enough resistance to turn the ratchet mechanism. In that case, you can hold and turn that blue thing so you can undo the bolt manually. In a nutshell, that blue thing is kind of an useless item 😂.

No, this set is not enough. You would need a breaker bar to loosen the bolts and this is a medium duty ratchet. So you have to buy a breakers bar and a torque wrench to do the job. The sockets are of good quality and they can handle the immense force of the breaker bar.

These 40-piece socket sets are pure garbage. I purchased one of these as a teen decades ago. They sell for $5 USD on sale. They can't be used for any serious repairs. If you can't afford a real set of socket tools, and you are poor, they will do for simple jobs. But they are low quality, poor tolerance. Best to save your money and invest in a quality set of tools that will last you a lifetime.
Can this use to change motorcycles tyre?
In short - NO
The problem is the it is just a ratchet set. You would also require a breaker bar to loosen the lug nut of the motorcycle tire. The mechanism of the ratcheting wrench will be damaged if you apply are really strong force on the ratchet handle.

Yes you can but I would recommend to buy two socket set that include this one that I have reviewed and another one which is review in the video by another person(ua-cam.com/video/TmJlRWOCg3c/v-deo.html)
The link will show the review video of what you have to buy. I am advising to buy both because one has less number of socket available but a really strong non ratcheting wrench which can be used to break free really tight bolts. The one that I have reviewed has a really great number of socket but the wrench is a ratcheting wrench so it can be used to loosen really tight bolt or else the gears inside the ratchet will strip. Both the sets contain wrench with 3/8 inch drive so all sockets can be used by both.
But make sure to find a place where you can get it for cheap as there are many sellers out there who are selling these products at 2 to 3 times the original price.

28mm and 17mm available?
As far I remember, the biggest size of the socket available is 15mm. 17mm and 28mm ain't available.
Does this contains 17mm socket?
The maximum size is 15mm. You do also get a 5/8inch socket which is slightly bigger than 15mm. You can buy 17mm socket from the hardware stores near you.
