RIP dear Judy Dyble, thank you for all of your unique gifts you shared with us. This interview captures Judy's lightness and wit. "not a fusion, a collision" You have left us an incredible body of work from the last 15 years. Your music will keep you in people's hearts whilst your spirit travels XX
Tears in my eyes as I watching this ....... thanks for uploading - this album is LEGENDARY for me and my friends! Love and respect from Athens, Greece.
Ημουν εκεί. Είχα πάει ειδικά για αυτή τη συναυλία. Ηταν όσο απίστευτα, μαγικά, συγκινητικά μπορείς να φανταστείς. Αγγελική από Αθήνα. ******************************* Judy thank you for the sweet memories. Amazing gig :) Aggeliki from Athens
Georg Sladek
This was a magical gig, I was there and enjoyed the evening very much. All of the music and musicians were excellent and the lovely energy between Judy and Jackie elevated the whole evening.
Thanks for uploading this Judy. I've only just found it even though I'm a long time fan of the album along with the debut Fairport Convention one. It's wonderful that you got to do this again and I can imagine that it was good for you too see your music still being enjoyed all these years later. I wasn't born when the album was released. I'm a proud owner of the wonderful Flashback vinyl reissue of Morning Way from a few years ago. I have friends who like your music and singing too. All the best.
What a great album, a friend of mine found this record store in Phila, around Cheltenham records selling for 50 cents-$1.05 & 2.10 these were the prices in 1970. Bruce found Trader Horne there for 50 cents & I found Alan Taylor for 50 cents both English performers & very happy with both, u could experiment new music for very cheap, we came home with boxes of music, what a fun time for music & Bruce & myself.
The song "The Mutant" is like a pioneer instance of ASMR even though I don't know if that effect was intended. Either way, a genious album. Would have deserved as much attention as some of Nick Drake's work imo. Cheers!
doug marcus Both wonderful singers. Both unique and talented. Both beautiful and not completely at ease with performing. Both the only female members of FC to date. Both did absolutely wonderful things after FC. I tell you what I would have liked, is to have had Judy and Sandy collaborate. If we can have some Dreamtime...I would have loved to see how the two might have sounded in FC together. :)
Far better to have the words with me than to be standing there with a blanked out memory. It had been 45 years since those songs had been sung after all. ..:-)
JudyD9 Judy!! Wow...yeah i know my memory gets fuzzier every day. i was wondering with the KC tour and MIchael Giles touring a bit, were you ever offered a gig to sing "i talk to the wind" again?

Thank you Angelica, Am touched that you travelled so far to see us :-) x
I would do that again. One of the best gigs I have ever been to! Lovely memories :)
:-)
I bought 'Morning Way' on vinyl when it was first released in 1970. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but I was very pleased with what I got !
Music is certainly not a competition, these sounds are definitely music created from an eternal source. Spine tingling notes all through the album.

You will not see no colours, but a million shades of gray.

RIP Judy. Trader Horne one of my favorite all times.

`Have always loved their wonderous album,`Trader Horne`.Perhaps it`s now time for their 2nd album to continue Trader Horne`s amazing saga`.-)
unforgettable
R.I.P. dear Judy.
Rip Judy. You made some really good sounds, and not all of them released yet.
Thanks for this!

An overriding sense of self effacing people who created something utterly magical almost by accident (or serendipitously, as mentioned).
Thank you, what a lovely thing to read :-)
i actually thought judy sang better than sandy denny.
