In a nutshell rocket lab did a hotfire test at the most difficult power regime. I am surprised that they could run the engine at such a low pressure. Normally at low pressure the flame separate from the nose bell and this creates nose oscillations that blow up the engine! That is a fantastic new for landing neutrons 🎉

A nutshell question for Sir Peter. I'm a Kiwi. Given the marketing and brand awareness and mass media exposure, wouldn't it be good for the company to make sure they never run out of quality branding murch... I want to support the brand... I am sure it would take only 10 seconds to instruct whom ever is in charge of that department... Never run out of much...

Rocket testing in a nutshell: We fire things up, cross our fingers, and hope that the only explosion we get is a burst of applause!
Dave, Ask Peter if the engine pictured is flight weight, or a development article, built heavier and with more measurement ports etc that allows wider ranges of performance testing.
I'm not sure if you'll see this, but a burning question I've always had for Neutron is how the 2nd stage will attach inside the 1st stage. Would it be attached by some separation systems on the side walls of the rocket? Or would the inner dimension of the 1st stage shrink to accommodate the 2nd stage? You can use a normal separation system. But then again, if that's the case, the bottom of the 2nd stage isn't completely flat.
So, how would that work?

Question for Peter Beck...
Would it be possible to build a large booster stage, similar to that of the SpaceX super heavy booster, then put the Neutron on top? Making the entire Neutron rocket into an orbital 2nd stage.
Ask Sir Pete about what landing StarShip in Australia means in term of US security laws, regulations and military secrets. Well maybe ask about launching from Australia and landing NZ. Less Elon focus and more Sir Pete.

I would like to know Peter Becks thoughts on racing drones in space as a sport. Of course it is not yet a sport, and it's mostly me who thinks it's the best idea ever, but Mr. Beck has a rocket company and so they might understand some of my opinions better than others. The concept is to use sub-orbital launches to put drones and an inflatable course into a 3-6 minute (or more of course if plausible) microgravity trajectory similar to the tourist hops, once in space and at microgravity the fairing would open, a course of a few hoops would inflate, and small drones similar in design to the cold-gas propulsion system of the Adelis-Sampson nano-sats, but with FPV kit attached and a few more thrusters for sport performance would be RC piloted by people on the ground. The whole thing then falls back to earth. It doesn't require launching humans to space, it doesn't require orbital velocity, it lets people fly real spaceships in space, and using simulators it's something everyone everywhere with a computer can train for. The latency is barely more than flying an RC aircraft within 100 yards for an object directly overhead at 500km. Thanks! Of course I would go on for hours about intricacies, but I think the sport is summarized!

@@gccchc2449 now quiddich would definitely be a space sport, , where the broom are little thruster pogo sticks that push one way and the player rides them and points them around (like a broom) ,, and the seeker always accelerates in a random direction (like that star wars lightsaber trainer) but quickly, and the ... Any stock with "meme-stock" sentiment has people just betting on single events. Half of the people probably don't understand how much this company does outside of launch vehicle operations.
Dave, I would really love to hear how Peter sees the future of space industry. Like not the near future, but 5-10 years and past - and how Rocket Lab would position itself there.
And couple other:
-Is there any plans to build re-usable second stage for Neutron?
-Also probably a question he may not be able to answer, but has Rocket Lab already developing the next launch vehicle after Neutron so they can offer some redundancy for Neutron, in case it ever gets grounded for whatever reason. Maybe a slightly heavier reusable launch vehicle that might not see so much action, but can fill in for Neutron, if need be?
@beloved_lover regarding the future of space generally his answer is the biggest successful companies will be ones that can do it all (launch, build & operate satellites etc). I will see if I can work some of that in though!

*_Question for Peter Beck:_* In layman's terms, what targets need to be met for Archimedes qualification? Is there a pre-determined minimum number of hours of engine firing that must be achieved? Or some statistical measure?
Some potential testing questions for Peter:
How many separate physical engines are they expecting to test before they start testing flight engines?
Is there a stage 2 test stand in work? Is that at stennis?
Is there a stage 1 test stand planned, or will they use the launch site at wallops for that?
Nutshell, I'm wondering if they're going to have a dry fit prototype Neutron, before a launch ready Neutron chassis. Good news is a lot of avionics/flight computers etc can carry over from Electron significantly cutting their lead time for Neutron launch. And it's worth noting, they don't need reusability to start launches. They could very well start launching a few with no intention of them landing in order to get some flights going.
Dave, question for Peter: Attacks on satellites (physical attack, satellite jamming and cyber attacks) are becoming a real threat, what's Rocketlab's strategy to mitigate for this and can satellite protection become an opportunity?
It might be an early question, but I’m curious about the plans following the development of the Neutron rocket. While SpaceX and Blue Origin are planning space habitats and missions to other planets, what is Rocket Lab’s broader vision?
@kubback1743 the next step will be Rocket Lab's own satellite constellation. I do plan to ask a little about it but they keep their cards quite close to the chest.

Why did you changed it? Which are the most relevant innovations? Are there other upcoming relevant changes in the electron hardware?"
They said a heavier load could be carried. Any idea if we’re talking pounds, ounces?
Question for Peter. If Boeing quits Starliner and NASA wants to maintain dual suppliers would Rocket Lab be in a position to bid for a multi billion contract? And if so would Rocket Lab engage partners like Axiom or Voyager Space for human systems

They'd probably use a photon satellite bus for that task.
