heya master, did you ever check Element of Surprise? A masterly well free pluggy, that works like Autogun in FL Studio :)
Oh my god! Stop feeding my vst addiction, pls venus; I'm dying out here, man.
Thx for the cool stuff!
Yess Linux, Thanks man. Keep up the Grind (*)the haters.
@@TraxtasyMediasounds great!❤
Did you just credit me?!? That was reeally unexpected ahahah it never happened to me I swear so thanks to you Ven! ❤
He called you a LEGEND bro, must be nice :)
@@KOjoe1k67 ofc it is! Ahahah
FREAKSHOW INDUSTRIES free vsts are by far the weirdest vsts I have ever come across and by a long shot the best looking plugins and unexpected sounds.."wtf" comes to mind
I second that. Even the interface is surrealism.
Yes! Dumpster fire on a piano scared everyone in my house!
Back mask on guitar is awesome too
@@ernestweber5207 I love your profile pic, in our country we call them sea swallows. I love finding them at sodwana
@@bobrobertsNotUrBob Thanks! Yes, they are so beautiful. Amazing creatures.
I would just note that they are also a bit dangerous to handle and can deliver a potentially life threatening sting, as you probably know. Look, but don't touch ;)
@@ernestweber5207 yh i am aware, and cringe when I see someone who decides to pick one up...humans
Thank you for the awesome coverage! 🙏 Driftmaker was due for an update so new versions are now available. This should improve compatibility and performance issues on the latest versions of major DAWs for Windows and OSX. Any problems, definitely get in touch... Enjoy!
glad to hear you're working on performance issues. I've downloaded your plugs in the past and found them neat-sounding, but very unstable.
@@SirNotAppearing very sorry to hear that. Indeed some plugins had suboptimal performance issues in the past but we are constantly working to improve the framework. In the past year we’ve optimized a lot of the codebase and - especially on windows - things should perform a lot better. Feel free to write hello at puremagnetik with any specific issues and we will definitely sort them out!
He was saying how random it can be, it looks fun but I really need to be able to recall patches and have the effect same the sound way when I open the project again, based on the selected parameters and into future sessions... or would I need to bounce the audio every time just due to the fact if I catch some randomness magic it may not happen again (in precisely the same way)?
first of all i really like the your driftmaker with its glitchy style! and thanks a lot for the free version:) but my problem is that it produces a loud white noise..am i doing something wrong?
I have FL studio 20, but I can't get Driftmaker to install properly... I keep getting errors when trying to add it as a new plug-in, is there a proper way to install it that I'm unaware of? It looks like it would be a great plug-in, but I can't get it to work
chow is the one guy doing everything right when it comes to plugin development and design, it's amazing,
Chow Tape is the BEST Free Tape plugin in the market rn. It even competes really well with the top paid ones too!
Chowdhury deserves way more recognition.
I really don't comment often but I want to express my deep gratitude for your content! It has helped an old composer like me acclimate to this new world of music production (my tools before were pencil, paper and acoustic instruments). Even more importantly your content, along with others, is helping me through some of the worst times of my life through a pleasant educational escape! So THANK YOU!¡!¡!¡!
As soon as I am financially capable, I will become a patrean
Chow is ace, I pointed out a timing bug in matrix with the fist taps and he implemented an update that corrected it within days
Thanks for this. I was aware of Emergence and Pianoverb. But I live Fogpad, Driftmaker and Expanse. My other favourite's recently have been from Freakshow Industries. Mishby is my favourite. It's indescribably strange. The interface is a work of art. I think you'll like it. Audiomodern have some greate free plugins too. Filterstep is a 'motion filter' that's quite creative. Gatelab brings some creative modular-like gate sequencing into the DAW too. Audiothing filterjam is a multiband resonant filter, a few years old now, but I still like it.
Freakshow is amazing... I love their 'steal' option for the plugins too, it's hilarious. Absolutely fascinating stuff.
@ I paid for all of Freakshow's plug-ins despite knowing about the steal option and being very much into free plug-ins. I just had to reward that level of twisted genius! Their marketing videos are works of art unto themselves.
oh mishby is amazing! been using it subtly in a lot of my sounds for a couple of years now
@@woegarden One can use MISHBY "subtly??" :-)
@@Euthymia Using Mishby 'subtly' means when your boss isn't looking, or behind your girlfriends back ;)
first two emergence demos got me chills
This is quickly becoming my favorite YT channel. So easy to 'zen' out to and learn me something. Thanks for the great content man
I can see use for every one of these plugins in the way I do my music. These are awesome. Thanks for sharing them. And thanks to the makers of them for creating them.
You really are becoming the Anthony Fantano of music production =D
And yeah, I like it when plugins are now, more than ever, going beyond bread and butter type functions by creating some unusual and interesting audio signal manipulation processes. Thank you for sharing as always. Eskitt =D
That Piano verb one is sick!!
I’ve been wanting something like pianoverb ever since I saw someone use that effect in a studio, it’s such a cool sound
Thank you for the video! Was looking for some free plugins lately. Perfect timing! 👌
Good morning, Cameron! Nice work! I hadn't heard of the first 3 of these, and all of them are really cool! Thanks for the great demos, too. Have a fantastic new week.
I have seen hundreds or thousands of videos on audio production and music, yours are always fund and instructional. You are one of a kind
So happy I found your channel last year, I get such a lot out of your videos - thanks, Cameron 👍
As always: Excellent recommendations. Can't wait to fool around with those a great interesting textures and effects. Thank you so much!
This is some of the most well put together content I've seen in a while, thank you!
Wow, that Fogpad demo was beautiful, I definitely want to use that at some point, I'm really happy I found this channel!
Thanks. The lighting on your videos is amazing.
Wow for the first time ever I've watched a video claiming 'great free plugins' and actually found all of them useful and therefore downloaded each of them. Great stuff thanks so much.
You’re absolutely right! This is the best 😁 There are so many plugins and VSTs out there, but who needs another reverb, compressor or saturation knob. It’s the chaotic and different plugins that get my attention and evidence of a truly creative developer. In fact, I think all the major vendors have similar high quality traditional effects that come with your DAW or bundle. They’ve nailed it. Now if you want a different sound, you need to venture into the unusual. Well done!
Thx so much for putting the timestamp for the pure demos, sooo helpful!!! I ended up watching most of the vid but of course sometimes folks just have time to look for demos etc :)
Wow, loads of ideas coming from these superb plugins. Great vid, many thanks
I love these weurd and wonderful free plugin videos. So inspiring! 😎
I love Emergence! I have been looking high and low for a good granular effect and this is well withing my comfort zone for sound design! Thanks Cameron.
LOVED EMERGENCE. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
It's amazing how theres a ton of free plugins that should cost a lot more, but still free
Emergence is an absolute beast ! Got it working flawlessly sounds deadly on keys and guitar its a definite keeper cheers to all involved !!!
yea that Emergence is dope thanks for posting
Everything about this video and thread. Thank you!
I love your peace offering at/ around 0:58! So priceless!! What makes it even funnier is I didn't see it coming! Love your sense of humor bro. You just gained a follower!!
Ohh baby that PianoVerb really hit the spot. Cheers for shining some light on these; never woulda found them otherwise
my fav and tysvm for this tutorial it was helpful❤️
The fact you referenced Lil Pump's catchphrase as "The thing kids say this days" just made me feel like I have no rights to call myself a boomer and I thank you for it
How have I never heard of Puremagnetik? Some awesome plugins and sample packs for insanely reasonable prices. Very workflow friendly. Thanks!
Nice, thanks for the information. So far, I'm really enjoying your channel.
I've used a couple of these, but I also love seeing ones I've never seen before. The Drift Delay looks interesting :D
wow, Emergence and ChowMatrix are both absolutely killin. thanks man
Installed, everything works, thanks!
Really nice list Happy to see my plugin here! Thanks for the shoutout
that was so fun just listening to it. id love to see more videos of some wacky plugins
Thank You so much for this video! Emergence is what I've been looking for without even knowing.
Great content as always! Appreciate the callouts for Linux support, too.
Real great review of these awesome plug-ins! Thanks!
Fantastic video! Thanks for all your doing.
Wow emergence is gnarly. Thank you for the recommendations as always 😁
That pianoverb tho 🔥
Loving emergence, and renewed interest in ribs. Thanks for a great video!
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!! I'll look for whacky new plugins on YT and what I normally get are super boring, generic delays/eq's and such, so this is absolutely fantastic! def getting all of these
These are really really cool, Driftmaker seems like a great sound design tool.
Some cool stuff in here! Will definitely grab a few of these. Was watching the video for the new Noises plugin (not free) by AudioThing earlier too. Could see you liking that one.
Had to watch the intro twice. Too funny. Have not heard of any of these so glad a long weekend is coming up...
Thank you so much for this!
I am so getting Emergence. Been looking for something like this without all unnecessary bloat for so long.
Great video! Dope plug ins!
Absolute legend. Nice one
The Noise Engineering Free Bundle is great. The synths are simple and great for sound design, whether for subby basses, crunchy mid-range, or eerie pads. Ruina is a ruinous beast.
Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
Awesome selection of plugins! Never heared of Puremagnetik before this video, they got some really cool plugins!
Also, what piano did you use in the PianoVerb Demo - it has such a nice creamy quality to it.
Thank you for the vid, great
I ran over and downloaded Emergen, sick plig-in
awesome! really great video. I always learn something new here.
Good to see mention of PianoVerb. I've been enjoying it for years.
ok ok im subbing bro these plugins are everything ive been looking for...
It's great to see Puremagnetik getting some attention! I don't know how well known they are, but their plugins are really unique and versatile for the money.
This the greatest audio quality I’ve heard on my phone speakers in a minute 😴😂
Thank you for your reply!
I really don't know why Emergence is free.. IT'S JUST SO GOOD!
I wanted a grain delay so I remember emergence, picked it up and I ended up using it like 5 times today. It's pretty damn good. Its missing some functionality but its really very good already.
Piano verb is badass ima definitely have to mess around with that one
Chow Matrix looks and sounds awesome. Need to pick that one up ASAP. Thanks, V.T.
I must say your channel and your content is amazing. The audio and your voice is perfect for listening for like..forever. No , im not a stalker but..i really like your content and i hope more people find your channel. Thanks and keep it up! :D
Haha well thank you. Glad you've been enjoying the channel!
Thanks as I love weird sounds, so synths and fx, rather than normal instruments.
Great post, thank you!
lovely introduction ! love it
7:48 ahhh , yep
i vote for more weird plugin videos :D great to put a few companies on my radar, thanks!!
Been looking for some new granular plug-ins (or a replacement of the free version of the salty grains vst I lost years ago) and this video had it... and things I didn't even know I needed? All these are perfect for the kind of music I make, thank you so much!
Made me a fan … from “I went to public school “ classic… Dope vid
wonderful channel as always!
Oh wow Piano verb! That's been around for 15 years or more i reckon! Looks like it's finally had a bit of an update! Nice video! Thanks 👍🙏
Every plugin should have an "Insanity" fader!
your melodies are wonderful!
Thank you for those plugz
Emergence was exactly what I've been looking for. This is a swift kick in the arse to Ableton and their version of a Granular sampler.
I Cameron, thank you for your work. You’re a big 🙏🏼
Its very good! Working! Thanks
Appreciate this 📝🎵🎹🎚🎛🌄🌌🌌🌌🔥🔥🔥
This is my first video of yours, and if you hadn't brought up the overdubbing thing I wouldn't have noticed. Now I can't stop thinking that you hire a voice actor to dub you and you really sound like Lina Lamont.
Thank you, cool vid!
I actually really like that driftmaker plugin. Sounds haunting
Try putting a piano through driftmaker, then emergence. So much creepy.
@@kmdaykin hmmm i might do that...
@@kmdaykin will try this out-thanks.
Dope!! Thank you
Going by the photo at the be gaining, you must be a pro model too! Heh, anyhow, thank you for these interesting paint brushes for our sound! Eno would be pleased. Imagine if he had access to this in the 70's?
Subbed and liked.
Thank you for another lovely video!
it's finally ti. i'm ready to learn.
Thank you kindly for sharing- i am currently in southern Asia and... i dont have much money currently- i live okay but when i moved, i had to leave my old studio behind, the pandemic hit, and..well i am used to making decent money through live shows...then i learned about VSTs and it must be a bit of a passion project and i certainly respect and applaude the coders - particularly those who release their work as FOSS...(i am a bit of a dinosaur). and give them what i can» not much but at least something.«
I checked - everything is clean
Puremagnetics Mellotron sample go hard! I’ve been following them for years.
Very, very interesting! Thank you.
