Useful stuff Julius. Thanks. In Engagement - Landing page, Landing page there is a BLANK (not not set). Otherwise there is the page's path there. Any clue why this is?

In the landing page report the blank row is homepage. It is a display bug.
I would assume that when you have issues of sessions with no pageview (e.g. where landing page is not set) you'd look at whether or not my consent mechanism is working. E.g. if the pageview event is happening before consent status is set, you could end up with a situation where the pageview is missed and only the subsequent engagement events are counted. This would create a session with no pageview.

Thanks Julius once again. And once again I got a question :). I'll put it in Facebook. TY.
I cannot figure out how you get the form_id to show up on events. 7 seconds into the video you show that.. How is this done to get form_id to display there? Thanks
Thanks, Julius! I see a lot of not set dimensions specifically for users that come from Facebook. Do you have any videos you can direct me to or blog posts?
Hi Julius, The page_view event must have been triggered when the webpage was loaded on the browser for the first time, so even when the session times out there shuld be a minimum 1 page view event recorded right? PLease clarify this if I am wrong
Hi Julius! Thank you very much!! Have ever occurred to you that a specific campaign you're running in Meta doesn't appear in GA4 session campaigns? I have verify the UTM parameters, all good.. so really don't know what could be the issue.. hope you could help me pleeease.
What would you suggest if in the GA4 debugger I can SEE the purchase event occur, AND i can see all "Event > parameter" and "Items > Product Name" details being passed from the dataLayer, but the item name isn't showing in my Ecommerce reports?
Let me ask a silly question, does Not Set traffic still count as real traffic? Ive seen a great spike on 1 particular day and i wonder if its because ive been doing some FB marketing the not set says 8000 pageviews, so interested if its real or if its me as i keep my homepage up always.
Thanks Julius. We have seen page title = (not set) getting worse in the last few months... to the stage now we have sites with thousands of views, but no title set (it's for the homepage, which does have a title above GTM script) and the page viewed per session is high (30+). This has crept in and the site structure/GA settings are unchanged. Any ideas of this is another GA4 bug?
How does GA4 treat a browser tab that is open in the background on your mobile but not actively being viewed? will it keep timing out and recording a new sessions?
This Channel is gold for current Problem solvings of Analytics of stuff... Thank you so much.
Thanks Julius! Very informative as always. It would be also interesting to get a bit further into the ga4 missing measures called "other".
I have the same question about "other".
You are a CHAMP, Julius! Hope you continue to inspire.Could you please make a video on automation ?
проверил, связка работает, автору спасибо что разжевывал по данной теме, с меня лайк!)

What does it mean when the hostname is not set?
Thanks for addressing this issue of not set stuff.

Like you mentioned, the initial session has a page view. However, after the first session times out, and the second one starts, it has no page view.
Big helps!!!!!!
Thanks.

So you guys really adjust the session timeout to 4 hours as Julias is proposing? What other consequences it can have?
Hello! I’m seeing not set in the report. The other parameters are correct (session source/medium and campaign). Thoughts?

It seems like google discovery isnt a session source medium on GA4 like in GAU. Any ideas? It gets grouped with good paid search.

Do you have any updates on why some session don't have the session_start event?
No
Python GOOGLE ANALYTICS API CODE ?? can u suggest me source code please
I didn't see the page location not set part in the video, which is my issue
I have not set landing page and it shows 0 new users. Why is that?
Because that comes from the 2nd session (or more) and all of those users are considered as returning users
it looks like you have read Optimise smart blog and converted it into a video.
