North of Denver. in the cottonwood trees on the farm right outside our neighborhood. Nesting pair there for several seasons. Then this spring I spotted a giant golden eagle(looked like a giant turkey) sitting on the nest. Haven’t seen the bald eagles again. Hoping they come back this fall/winter but time is running out. Nature!
The eagles are the masters of the skies, for their impressive skill of hunting and being good parents for caring their cheeks. They deserve respect and protection to these magnificent eagles. Thanks for sharing this extraordinary documentary. Great job 🦅🦅🦅

The most unpleasant scene in the film is the encounter between the wounded marmot and eagle chick (22:35). Marmot sees the creature by whom it will be eaten. It is not a huge monster, but it is the baby of an eagle. Marmot might kill this eaglet but didn't. And the scariest thing the marmot can realize is that there is nowhere to escape from this rock. The only thing he may do is to wait for the mother of this chick. Harrowing scene.

I've lived in Nj for most of my life, Nj isn't necessarily known for it's wildlife!!! Growing up in the 70's Bald eagles had become almost non-existent in our state...due to the use of DDT. It was banned in the early 80's....today I see Bald eagles frequently, they have come back to this state.
Sometimes the biggest mistake is ignorance and misinformation, people need to be rightly informed on the the right path to earn weekly. Maja B Jozef is good to go for anyone interested.
