- Today we try out Uyghur cuisine! The Uyghur Muslim community is found in North-Western China and their food therefore takes a lot of inspiration from Middle Eastern, Turkish and Chinese cuisines. We try out lagman (handmade noodles), gosh yangyo (crispy potato with cumin lamb), and kawap (lamb skewers). They also do a range of other dishes including polo, sangza, manta and samsa you can try!
Location:
Tarim Uyghur
105 Rawson St, Auburn NSW 2144

I plan on being in Sydney this year. I look forward to filling up on those noodles and skewered lamb.
*@**9:25**:* If you're of Chinese-Cambodian heritage, you'll certainly be pleased that the most common of the original Asian groups in France are the Teochow (from the Mekong regions of Cambodia and Vietnam); and here in Québec (main part of French Canada), they are also the core group, followed by Vietnamese; both of whom have been here since WWII.
Uyghur Cuisine is the bomb. I will always order the skewers whenever I am in any Uyghur restaurant. CAUSE IT'S SO DAMN GOOD!!
It is soooo so damn good! 100% agree!
We had to go try out this restaurant after seeing your Insta story two weeks ago. Their lamb skewers are really the best in Sydney! Also tried their Besip Lagman and Goshnan. They were both great too.

My favourite kind of Chinese food is dim sum. I know it's Hong Kong food but still, nothing better than yum cha. I also love those duck shops with peking ducks hanging up with the roast pork belly and char siu roast pork. Yumm.
This place is very hard to find. I walked past it and couldn't see it?
Yeah not very flashy! Just a glass window with a sign
Where is this place in auburn @foodboy thks
Near the station! Head out to see auburn kebab house and then turn left
Authentic hand made noodles. Not your machine cut noodles like ramen or soba.
