We use these drones and I can say they are very good at getting under the canopy. Maybe not as effective on taller trees but uses much much less chemicals to produce the same results. Their spraying ability lies in the vortex they create underneath, not just a direct spray. I think this is a solution to attack canopy roaming insects but lower hanging trees still need some attention using other methods.
Please note that most of what is sprayed is neem oil, a natural pesticide. By going in from the air we are massively using the amounts that we spray, so far much less hitting the ground and ending up in the lagoon.

I was on the phone for 4 hrs before the rep just hung up and never called back! I paid a couple hundred for the express care just to be told I have to pay you guys another $445 for you guys to fix your update malfunction this can't be true!? @djiwhat is your fix for this problem!? I can't be the only one!

Drone sprays on top of the tree only, cannot go inside. I assume those hairy caterpillars are not only on the top.

Neem oil is natural and effective pesticide and neem leaves and extracts are used widely for health reasons.
