- So here is a quick look at my current craft room. I will be tearing it all down soon and replacing with Ikea pieces but I thought you all would appreciate a look at what I currently have. I think this space would be good for maybe someone who sews a lot? What are your thoughts?
Also, I know the video quality isn't the greatest. I filmed this 3 times and just couldn't get it done well...SORRY! It's shaky I know, I DID have the image stabilization feature on but it didn't seem to help.

I watched the whole video but I think I missed why you are renovating … the room looks lovely to me
As a scrapbooker I have a lot of smaller items in my space and unfortunately, the space is currently more suitable for larger items. I need smaller drawer space for the smaller items so I can more easily find what I am looking for.

This is tough for me...your room is already a dream craft room and Ikea is...so cookie cutter. It's a beautiful space. But you gotta do what works for you. 🤷♀️
I think if I was more heavily into sewing projects, the room may have been more functional for me. Since mini albums/scrapbooking is lots of little items all the 24" deep shallow shelves didn't work very well for my items. I found so many things I forgot I had at the back of the shelves that just got pushed back because I couldn't really reach the stuff easily. I like the Ikea Alex drawers because they are shallow but plentiful making it easier to organize the smaller items I use for mini album making. I think the space would have also worked for someone who wanted an art studio, plenty of space for large canvases.
It looks perfect right now but I cant wait to see how you transform it!! I'm still rearranging my IKEA setup and may need to hire a professional at this point😂
You can do it! It has taken me many months to sort out how I was going to redo this space - now I'm just hoping everything fits the way I want it to lol
