I love it when customs people and guards are friendly. Far less intimidating than your imagination can sometimes make a border crossing out to be. Enjoy your time in Dubai. Looks futuristic!
Your border crossings in the middle east have been easier than what I've encountered entering the US from Canada (as a US citizen) and when entering England from France (as a former England resident). And the officials you encountered were very pleasant as opposed to the bureaucratic dicks I've had to deal with. Amazing - safe travels. The intro is magical.

Hi Noraly. You have brought back many happy memories for me and Sue when we lived in the UAE and also did the border crossing from Oman. It is a wonderful place and the people are really helpful. We lived in Al Ain, near burayme. One christmas we decided to head to Dubai and stay the night, and guess what, we forgot to pack our passports! So we drove back to Al Ain. The GPS was never correct due to the road system always being developed, safe riding. Glad you are ok, take care. Mark and Sue xx

Yes, your courage is admirable. You do use caution and common sense to protect yourself, however. You are an inspiration as well as being a great tour guide. I rode bikes my entire life until 19 years ago when I quit for what I thought would be a short time. Now I want to jump back in at age 71 -- and watching you is the reason. Thank you for all of it. Noraly living the dream :) just to be serious for a moment , from watching your videos and others on the same subject ie traveling around the world that "OUR " perspectives are , or seem to be somewhat shown ( through the eyes of media and alike ) that the world is in complete meltdown .... but in reality it's not ? thats refreshing so thank you for bringing the on the ground REALITY . Folks if theres one thing to learn GO FOUND OUT for yourself what is truly out there and yes be cautious , but dive in deep to fully understand a place before making assumptions.
Border crossing are always a challenge, but Noraly has all the bases covered and makes it appear easy no matter where she happens to be! These early episode border crossings seem to be as easily accessible or more so than what she has encountered in Africa!

Ofcourse there are women om middle-east street, how can you even say that? the reason they don't roam around aimlessly there is because in Muslim society, man has been commanded to be provide for the family, that's not responsibility of women to provide shelter, food, clothing, education, and other luxurious needs.
