some units have tht issue, but, there is a solution. remove the sim tray and run the benchmark and stress app for 20 minutes or so. and you wont get that issue

I agree that it's technically not a compact phone. Unfortunately their aren't that many true compact phones anymore so Xiaomi seems to get a pass I guess. I hope they keep it around that size though.
Xiaomi 14 apparently has a problem with overheating. It is better to buy the significantly cheaper Oneplus 12R, which performs in games at a similar level to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and has a great cooling system.
With the 13 Ultra China Version priced lower that this new 14 Global, I am torn if I should go ahead with the 13 ultra with I think larger sensor and better zoom lens. 😂
