aw man it looks great! i wonder if it IS the hondo one?...they were made by tokai in 1980/81and id imagine the same factory probably made all the lead copies? - totally love it though - id have that next to my wahburns- raven,scavenger,hawk,vulture,falcon,eagle...then condor! - keep the 2 single coils - keep it sounding different to your other guitars,are those single coils opposite polarity/wind?
I don't know about the reverse polarity on these. The single coils are low output about 3.5 k alnico with fiber board backing. 500k pots full size. They look like the same ones found in some Hondos. Pancake body for increased tone and sustain. The phase switch appears to be original. Gonna keep it stock. Cheers!
@@mr.whitesnake8421 take a loose single coil pickup and see if it sticks to the pickups in the guitar, if it attracts both or repels both then the pickups are the same - if it attracts one and repels the otther they are opposite wind so will be hum cancelling when used together, or humbucking if you wire them in series
