HOW ABOUT A HAIR DRYER AIMED AT THE BACK OF THE NECK .. MY TWIST IS ACROSS THE NECK - FROM LOW "E" TO HI "E" .. ON AN EPI L P STUD ! THANKS FOR THE VIDEO ..
I don't think the hair dryer will work. I tried that first. There is a video on UA-cam where a guy used dried beans in a sock placed in a microwave. I don't have a microwave, lol. Anyway, the trick is getting sustained even heat and pressure. Good luck, and thanks for watching!

Sorry to hear that. The previous owner had this one professionally set up. I got another LP 100 later that wasn't set up, and it was horrible.

Tom Presley was the man that designed the wiring diagram, pickups and body and its one of the best reasons to have one. We use to sell those things as fast as we could plug them in. Go to the Westone Forum Archive. Its a great guitar, Do you still have the original pickups?
Yes, I still have the original pickups, but sadly, the bridge was d.o.a.

I had one that I'd modified with dimarzios and a floyd, until it got stolen out of my car.... Keeping an eye out for another, the neck profile was great.

aw man it looks great! i wonder if it IS the hondo one?...they were made by tokai in 1980/81and id imagine the same factory probably made all the lead copies? - totally love it though - id have that next to my wahburns- raven,scavenger,hawk,vulture,falcon,eagle...then condor! - keep the 2 single coils - keep it sounding different to your other guitars,are those single coils opposite polarity/wind?
I don't know about the reverse polarity on these. The single coils are low output about 3.5 k alnico with fiber board backing. 500k pots full size. They look like the same ones found in some Hondos. Pancake body for increased tone and sustain. The phase switch appears to be original. Gonna keep it stock. Cheers!
@@mr.whitesnake8421 take a loose single coil pickup and see if it sticks to the pickups in the guitar, if it attracts both or repels both then the pickups are the same - if it attracts one and repels the otther they are opposite wind so will be hum cancelling when used together, or humbucking if you wire them in series

right - try changing that series/parrallel switch to a plain coil split..then use the other side of the switch to add a 250k resistor into the circuit when its in bucker mode?

G'day from OZ. I have a 1995 Epiphone Nighthawk ST3 Sunburst finish (I think). Great guitar. 5 way blade selector and the toggle switch. Like yours, the binding ends at the nut. Apart from the colour, the same hardware. Still works as it was designed too. 🦘😎👍 Cheers. Chris.
