Yo. Insidious Swede I have a video recommendation for you to make. If you can for your first video during the new year please make a video of how to plan manga hauls. I am a collector myself and I have my own channel on UA-cam. However there are times when I can't decide what to buy because I am overwhelmed. Should I collect finished series first or keep up to date with ongoings or complete what I already started collecting? Please make a video on this topic whenever you see this message.

I would like to recommend Historie by the same mangaka of parasyte , just started it recently , it's really good
Historie is a manga series that I've been meaning to get into for sure. But just like Kindgom, I'll probably hold off on it for now.
InsidiousSwede I think your should really give the yugioh manga another try. As it goes on and gets into the material the anime covered it gets great. The anime changed a lot, and in my opinion it was for the worse. It's one of my favourite Shounen Jump manga (although honestly it certainly isn't as good as stuff like one piece or hunter x hunter)
This is what I aspire to be in life.
I was so happy he didn't have bleach..what a garbage story...I like the powers character designs personalities villains but my god did it not have a story

Lol. Even getting through the first 2 chapters was a struggle. But I have 10 volumes so I'm not allowed to give up, yet..
I know it sounds absolutely ridiculous but once I got to volume 19, probably one of the most bad ass characters in shonen manga is introduced and I couldn't get enough of it. THOUGH if you're not liking it, 19 volumes is quite a lot /:

Knowone wanted those low quality omnibuses. We all wanted the reprint in singles but they still disappointed us and give the middle finger to the single collectors and stopped printing mid way. FUCK DARK HORSE!!

@@basicsyphilis8 Did you get it? I was going to start collecting the 3-in-1 and sell the single version but...I don't like it so I just decided that I gotta do what I gotta do. I haven't looked at my Gantz collection in so long that I didn't realize that I had 1-17 exception of #10.

Very nice collection Swede! Wow you have a few series which have oop volumes. Raqiya volume 2 , Saturn apartments volume 4, Message to Adolf volume 1, Your Gantz singles, Berserk singles (old labels) Battle Royal ultimate editions are all oop and if you do find them the price will be steep. Also noticed drifting classroom and some flowers of evil volumes are quite hard to find too but man you have ALOT of manga dude! How much of it is to be read?

Man, your collection never fails to amaze as well as inspire. I’m going to shoot for at least 100 volumes by the end of 2018. But question: we know your manga collection is second to none, but what about other interests? Like do you have a collection of just regular books?
I've actually sold off many other collections to help fund my manga collection, lol. I used to have a lot of blu-rays and video games but not any longer. And I don't read too many novels, but when I do I usually read them digitally. I don't have any space for another collection anyways, lol.

Oh Man!! You have Bleach series and One Piece! I myself could not handle the long series it felt like forever. I did not buy the volumes I like short series and I don't have room but hey You have patience. I salute you! Forgot to say I watched from the start of this video to the end too.

this has to be one of the first manga collection videos to show hajime no ippo! I love that series to death and would give anything for it to be printed in English even though it'll probably never happen, especially with 135 volumes and no forseeable ending yet lol

My favorite manga is assassination classroom and I'm currently on vol 5 and my favorite anime is sword art online. Also great video man, I can't believe you have 2000+ manga!
10:51 Thank you soo much for highlighting this series , it sounded like a great concept so today I watched 5 eps of the series and I love it , I know about One Piece and I rather like a lot of it from what I have seen in reveiws but apart from that I didnt have much interest in Manga rather comics as I hadn't found any other Manga series I liked untill this one , I hope to get these issues of the series when stores open again , Awesome Video hugs :)

I've got complete Showa series, which was excellent and also Onwards Towards Their Noble Deaths, which is dedicated to WW2 experiences. A problem with a collection of this size is that you wouldn't really have time to re-read anything, especially if you're still growing the collection.

The 2 Yugioh omnibuses you have are not from the anime you watched. Up to volume 7 was what was adapted by Toei known as "season 0". Duelist Kingdom starts from around 8.
I guess that explains why I didn't feel the same way about the manga, lol. Thanks for letting me know
InsidiousSwede No problem. I have almost all the omnibuses up to volume 30 and apart from the obvious disadvantages such as paper bleeding the contents of the manga are much less censored than the anime and that's why I love it.

Also I’m surprised that manga is so expensive I’m not saying it’s bad but most ones don’t really make it very strong and it can break easily and with the page quality.

I made it to the end of the video for sure I even paused multible times to write all your titles down and you have 190 titles and roughly 1479 if I calculated right not including some of the artwork in the box sets but I did include the artbooks and double copies of the same volume. Took a few hours but I stayed till the very end! :) Ok a little editing there are more than 190 titles there are 203 titles in all that I counted. Not counting the artbooks as titles but counting the english and japanese titles.

I’ve got the first six volumes in Japanese from before they started to print them in English but being 16 I haven’t had any money to buy the English versions since they came out but I hope to be able to soon. Also great collection, I’m currently on around 70 volumes so far in my collection

Two zombie manga recommendations: Gakkou Gurashi and Highschool of the Dead. Another action manga that as far as I've read it has been really good is Dice: the cube that changes everything.
As always a great video, good selection, not all my taste. You once taught "Bleach' was great, lol. I tried reading it this year. I only made to vol 18 before I dropped it.
