Great to see Phillip championing the less known but no less resplendent painters. This was wonderful to hear someone so passionate about a work with such beautiful language. Thank you.
Thank you! I have been sharing a painting a day with my Facebook followers since the lockdown began in March here in California. My "Feel Good" paintings, just to lift people up through the pandemic, and the political upheaval we have been experiencing here in the USA. I have been enjoying your 'sharing' since your first lockdown. Thank you.
Philip my dearest and Cedric ....I am ill at present and haven’t forgotten my portrait of you & Cedric as soon as my operation/recovery is done I hope to continue with my work ....this episode is so poignant in the classic horticultural green ....you have exquisitely painted your walls. If Cedric the Artist was alive today he would be in awe of your fine choice ....much love 💖 and little kiss 💋 for Cedric 🐾 love MelbFolino @historings
You and your love of your art are a bright shining star in these grim times. Your generous nature always comes across so much in these vids. And I truly missed your treasure trove of art information you gave after your last series. Thank you so much for these new shows. May you and your family stay well and blessed. Thank you!!!
The bright side of lockdowns is that they brought about your Art in Isolation series. I perk up every time I see a new one is out. Thank you! And thanks for introducing me to Cedric Morris.
In a strange way I feel like I am a child running along the lane, the fields that surround your house -- a curious child from your neighborhood breathlessly and eagerly awaiting what Mr. Mould will teach me today about ART. May God continue to bless you and your family during this time and may He, who is the Master and Creator of All continue to bless this work of yours for all of us.
I’ve been waiting for the next installment and was thrilled that you’ve shown us another Cedric Morris! Thank you Philip and know that you are lifting spirits across the pond. Katherine, NYC.
I paid an expensive price for a Crown Imperial bulb and grew it in my eighties garden (like your former Cedric Morris) snapped a photo and as I enjoy painting flowers, maybe I wii paint it, provided I can find the old photo. The new Cedric Morris of the poppies is lovely. Thank you for bringing enjoyment.
Thank you Phillip,it’s wonderful to see you again, the painting is beautiful,it’s also though, how you reveal the story of the artists and their work..you are certainly helping me through lock down.🎨🇨🇦
I’m a plantswoman and an artist which is probably why I adore Cedric Morris’s work. Painting poppies is incredibly hard as they have such a translucent, fragile quality about them. Sometimes you just can’t compete with nature. Loving these little jewels. More please.
Sending you love and best wishes too Philip and hope that these comments lift your spirits just as much as your posts do your subscribers! It is interesting to hear that you sell you are but, as you say, you are an art dealer. At least, you will never run out of art to share with us! I remember the previous Cedric Morris painting. As a geneticist and a lover of all flowers but especially iris I found it fascinating to learn that Cedric bred iris and poppies.
Thank you! These videos help fill the hole in my heart from not being able to visit museums and art exhibits. We are also closed here in Los Angeles until we are not.
I am really enjoying this program. Thanks for introducing me to Cedric Morris. You speak of painters and painting from the heart without the need for complex language or dificult to understand statements. Thank you from Melbourne Australia.
Thank you for this! Each individual painting and story, the history of artist and painting. It's a treat also to hear your lovely voice. You bring joy to my world with your programs
Such a breathtaking painting! I grew up with red poppies of the Mediterranean, just brings back lovely memories! Thank you for sharing this painting, I hope you keep this one✨😌💐
Thank you Philip. I almost cheered when your film here popped up in my feed. It almost makes it worth being in lockdown! Apart from the art you show and explain there is such an aura of peace emanates from your home.
I have learned so much from all your TV series, not just about art pieces but the human pieces. That is what art is the human parts in the creation of art. Sometimes I wonder what is my part in the creation of my own art, is the sum of the parts greater than whole? Thank you for your important series.
Hello from Ireland! .....we're in full lockdown too....thank you for these videos.... great to have a break from the news media and enjoy some beauty on these grey days
I love your comments on these paintings and have much enjoyed Art in Isolation. From a Suffolk artist in the French West Indies.Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you so much Phillip and Co. A particularly touching episode of Art in Isolation. And your production values are just getting better and better too. It’s a peculiar thing that here in Western Australia it’s mid summer and we’re not in lockdown and yet the sense of isolation is also quite present. We feel for you.
I love your films so much. Especially the ones in lockdown with the snapshots of your beautiful home. I watch them over whenever I need to feel a friend is dropping in for a quick chat! x
This is a fantastic series Philip. Please keep this going as long as you can. So informative. You Inspire me to paint more and more and look at the countryside and objects around me too to emulate different styles of paintings from your program.
so good to find this series - Henry Moore was a favorite sculptor and I think I enjoyed his work at the Hirschorn in Washington DC long ago. I am busy as ever, just doing it all on ZOOM , Skype , FaceTime etc. and our huge holiday show was moved online in entirety, and so now we think we are adventure people, rising to the challenge with spunk and passion and good work! Stay well - you are a favorite for along time now. I am restoring old Holiday toys in this quiet and finishing a painting for a client. Never bored!
I love the Painting. It is wonderful how he could make the flowers look so three dimensional, even the white, which I would think would be the hardest to achieve. It is a Happy and Cheerful painting. I am sorry you had to sell the other one. One day you might be able to buy it back, if the current custodian decides to sell. Anything good is possible. Then you will have two. Hi to the Beautiful dog again. I had quite a good laugh seeing her run across the garden with that large green ball in her mouth. Thank you for the wonderful video. They bring me Happiness. Jeff
Wonderful as always, Phillip - this is at times the only bright spark on my lockdown horizon for the day, but what a bright and nourishing spark it is. You are so right that it is that much harder to bear this lockdown this time around. This program warms my heart with so much beauty, every time! Thank you!
Sublime! Warms my heart and fills my eyes with emotion and feeds my soul with inspiration. Thank you for sharing and for being so warmly open and giving.
Thanks a lot for this new episode. You brighten my day with these wonderful pieces of art. And your interesting and passionate presentation. Stay safe and please go on with your series.
Lovely.... and so smartly presented...I love Poppies.....yes “this time around seems a bit tougher”.....and as the saying goes “makes us a bit stronger”....
Cedric Morris 😍😍😍 I think I like this one better than the one you sold, if that’s possible 😂. Reading Cedric Morris biography at the moment. Another favourite of mine, Laura Knight.
I am agonising to start painting again.. This is starting to motivate me again very slowly 😂.. If only I could commit to it.. This painting is a powerful motivation.. I love flower paintings.. I miss my paintings and things around me.. Living in a rental is a pain, as I can't hang anything up.. Can't wait to find a big old house to put all my art I have collected over time again.. Ty for another inspirational look at a fabulous artist and his work.
After reading 'Benton End Remembered' I was drawn to Art in Isolation via Cedric Morris, which resulted in my reading 'Beyond the Garden Wall'...then I was inspired to re-read Sue Roe's 'Gwen John', and this evening I will begin 'Divine People' (Ambrose McEvoy). So thank you for the light relief and the education. Art seems very serendipitous, one interest always lead to another. :-)
Hello, Philip! My husband and I were introduced to you by the “Fake or Fortune” program. We have really enjoyed this “Art in Isolation” series. Thanks so much for opening your home to us and talking about your collection.
I watched these during the pandemic and truthfully I could listen to this man describe how paint dries. That voice is melodic and captivating.
I so love your series even after the lockdown!
Thank you so much - Yes! You do bring comfort and quiet joy.
Great to see Phillip championing the less known but no less resplendent painters. This was wonderful to hear someone so passionate about a work with such beautiful language. Thank you.
Love the poppies! And so appreciate your sharing your love of art with us.

yes indeed..... Thanks Philip and team!
One of the best perks about your line of profession is having new works hang on your walls, how wonderful!
In a strange way I feel like I am a child running along the lane, the fields that surround your house -- a curious child from your neighborhood breathlessly and eagerly awaiting what Mr. Mould will teach me today about ART. I'm enjoying your series tremendously from lockdown in New Jersey USA!
I'm delighted to see the return of Art in Isolation. I enjoyed the previous series enormously. Many thanks.
Thank you Philip, I always get a lift when I watch and listen to your videos.
Thank you Andrew.
I’m a plantswoman and an artist which is probably why I adore Cedric Morris’s work. Painting poppies is incredibly hard as they have such a translucent, fragile quality about them. Sometimes you just can’t compete with nature. Loving these little jewels. More please.
That’s interesting to hear. Thank you.
I love many things 'British', your landscapes, cottages, and people in their individual uniqueness.
Warm greetings from México OOO

I've really missed your posts, Mr Mould; welcome back!

In a cold heartless and divided world, these videos bring peace and happiness to me, thank you Philip
Thank you.
Thank you - it's so lovely to see you and your wonderful house and to hear you speak about your treasured works of art.
Such a breathtaking painting! I grew up with red poppies of the Mediterranean, just brings back lovely memories! Thank you for sharing this painting, I hope you keep this one✨😌💐
As nice as the paintings are Phillip is the star of the show. Stay awesome!
The poppies lighten the dark dreary Manitoba Day.
The colors 🎨💖 I can just see those poppies in real time living.

Thank you Phillip. I love your videos...they are so interesting, and you have a beautiful home. Take care.
I love the Photograph posted of Cedric, I admire his attire and style. You could get away with wearing all of that around town now.
Agreed!
Thanks Philip for this second series and for sharing your own frustration as we soldier on into spring.
Thank you Philip. I almost cheered when your film here popped up in my feed. It almost makes it worth being in lockdown! Apart from the art you show and explain there is such an aura of peace emanates from your home.
Well that’s very kind. Thank you.
A beautiful painting to uplift and comfort us. Thank you.
So glad you're back, to brighten this rather miserable January, thank you.
Wonderful to see this today on black Monday. Those poppies have banished the black.
I hope they would! Thanks.

Thank you Mr Mould... such a joyous, hopeful painting.. but yes fragile too..

Thank you for inviting us into the intimacy of your thoughts about the meaningful paintings around you.
Thank you from an old clown living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the USA
It's so beautiful. i love the depth of plane through the bouquet. How you could let go of the other one is beyond me. I would hoard them both.
Thank you so much Phillip and Co. A particularly touching episode of Art in Isolation. And your production values are just getting better and better too.

You bring calm and serenity to the appreciation of these works - as you said, solace. Thank you
Look forward to your next program. Sick of lockdown from Collingwood, Ontario Canada.

Your tv programs are brilliant Mr. Mould , and your choice of art is great. ( from an artist who paints flowers.)
BOOM added to the playlist. Can’t get enough
Flattered! Thank you.
I like THIS painting more than the one you had to sell. Wonderful replacement!
