1080p HD!
An hour and a half at Stevenage station, one of my favourite stations on the southern end of the East Coast Mainline. A good variety of stopping and passing Virgin services as well as Great Northern. Not to mention the full line speed of 125mph in both directions!
INCLUDES: DRS Class 68 (68017 from Bounds Green to Norwich with some coaches), Hull Trains 180, Virgin East Coast Class 91/ 225 sets and HST's, Great Northern class 313's, 317's, 321's & 365's!
Due to a line-side fire near Retford at the time of filming services from the North were being delayed by over an hour, hence why you don't actually see many London bound Virgin services... That'll be why.
Thanks for watching

The quality of the film is exceptional, the sky looks fantastic. Oh, the trains aren't bad either!
3:23 Love that Battle of Britain style on that train.
You always do a great job of zooming in on trains once they've passed, people so often do that so clumsily I wish they didn't.
Nice! Virgin still have their original Class 43 HSTs.
Beautiful.
Nice one MATT Thanks
Virgin HST? That's next level.
Interesting seeing 321s and 365s skip stations wich some Virgin Train services stop at.
beautiful
?
Super film bruv
Great Video :)
2:37 That was one of GreaterAnglia’s Class 317s
Oh to see the locos / driving ends in Apple Green and the coaching stock in faux-teak. Pure class... Garter Blue for 43s and 91s / 82s, and maybe two-tone blue for carriages. Or am I just dreaming? Great Northern trains with brown underframes... Sorry - the mind's wandering...
I think that mostly white livery really suits 317s particularly. Pity they'll be going before long.
oh were to?
GA Have them and the 321s too now. Some still have the FCC Livery but there almost repainted into the white and red livery
Why was the DRS there?
2:10 what train class is that? sounds like an upgraded version of a Class 323
It's a class 365 electric multiple unit capable of running of up to 100MPH operated by great northern trains between London Kings cross towards Peterborough/Cambridge.
It used to have a older front end but now they have new front ends, but old traction motors.
Class 365
yes
CYTHRAUL // Mango.Boy class 365
IS THERE A REASON WHY THEY ONLY USE ONE PANTAGRAPH ON A TRAIN WITH 2 ELECTRIC POWER CARS? THE TRAINS WITH A POWER CAR AT THE HEAD AND THE ONE AT THE END! WOULDN'T THE USE OF TWO GIVE IT ALL THE MORE ZEST AT OVER 100MPH? NUFF'SAID. EARL OF EL BARRIO NYC, NY 9/11/17 7:57PM
