Upgrading to LED interior lights was the first job I did on my Dacia. From poor yellow light to bright and useful light for a couple of quid. Then I did the reversing lights.
@@zat-svi-carif this is the one in the middle centre of the roof then this clips in along the long sides, so that is where you would ease it out of it's holder frame in the roof panel. Later model rear side lights prize out from the 'O' end with light turned on.

I'd be interested to know how you get on with these. I tried fitting LED bulbs in the interior light a few years ago but had to remove them as it seemed to be causing a parasitic battery drain when the car was parked and locked.
And I don't think it's about tandem pump......one more thing can u send me here a clear foto of fuse position instruction because in the video it was not clear Plzzzz Guide me Sir with Ur experience very Grateful to you Sir...... waiting for Ur Answer Stay i blessing......

There are many manufacturing these now and as long as they are can bus compatible to stop the flickering it can then often come down to price. Paying g a little more may be better, but not always.
@@HatBoyHarvey Yup, I wouldn't go with overpriced Phillips or Osram, which surely will perform well, but there are great products for reasonable price.
Mate please I’m in need of some help, I am really struggling to get the side interior lights above back doors I can’t get them out to change them on my Skoda fabia
Turn the light ON - then use a flat bladed screwdriver at the 'O' end - push in centre, a metal clip behind is forced inwards and light will lift up. You then can pull out with your hand and disconnect connector. No need to force is.
Thank you, I ended up breaking one!! :( do you know where I can get a replacement? And also two replacement bulbs for them? As both bulbs were gone on both back interior lights lol
@kaiengland-xr7mp copy the part number into Google and there will be many. Lamps are festoon interior type - just measure the length. I don't have these lights so I don't know exactly, just make sure lamps are can-bus compatible.
Hello sir plz guide me a little bit I m facing my Skoda fabia 2005 with starting issue I was just feeling power loosing when I accelerate and in idle position it was fine but when in idle mode I accelerate the RPM needle it's fluctuate a little bit but yesterday when I stopped at signal the engine just shut down.....I tried three times to crank but failed I think at 4th time it starts but after 500 meters it's shut down again plz guide me Sir is it about diesel pump or tandem where I have to start checking and how???
I had the same problem six months ago. Strangely enough, it disappeared on its own and hasn't come back yet. I'm still looking forward to an answer from our Fabia-Expert @HatBoyHarvey so that I can look into it too. 😊

Hi! My Skoda Fabia elegance 2001 model, all four doors has no indicator light on dashboard when it is open , what is the problem,, i hope my message is notice 🫡💪
When the door doesn't register it is locked it is almost certainly the micro-switch inside the door lock malfunctioning. Before replacing this it is also worth eliminating other possibilities of the wire damage behind the rubber bellows on the A piller, disconnect the bellows and examine wires for fraying. Also disconnect examine all the connectors there, clean reconnect. These are the most common faults it could be, so maybe start there. but it still could be something else, hope this helps :-)
your videos helping me much. thank you
Happy to hear that :-)
Good videos Harvey 👍
Thanks 👍
Amazing video . Ty mate
Many thanks, glad you liked it :-)

Too right! 👍
Hey Harvey 😁
Can you please show how to change the lights for the passengers in the back? 🙏🏻
Im struggeling 😅
There isn't any on a Mk1!
do you have an estate mk1 (6Y5)? the hatchback doesn't have them.

None of my interior lights actually work except my red door ones, do you suggest a fuse change?

You need to use only can-bus adjusted led lamps to stop any issues like that.
i've got some 3000K ones as a kit for the 6Y's whole interior including the glovebox and the trunk. no battery drain issues here.

Best to look for better LEDs with no polarity. Those cheap ones are annoying hence they start flickering and burn out pretty quickly.

what`s this got to do with bulbs🤔🤔
Did I say bulbs :) I mean lamps. I must be getting confused with planting my daffodils :-)

now you need to clean your HEADLINING around your light......🙄🙄
Yes, but the whole headlining needs fixing, so will need to take it out in the near future and will clean it then :-)
