- Apple announced iOS 16 at WWDC 2022 on June 7 2022. This video showcases my Top 6 favorite features in iOS 16 beta 1. Things like undo send in messages, haptic feedback when typing, and major changes to the lock screen.

@@NicVandEmZ try it if you want just make sure to back up your data on there first just to be safe.
You can already save the background removed images directly. Just tap and hold on to the photo object until the pop-out animation, but don't drag it just let go. Then it gives you the option to copy or share, and if you press share it gives you the option to save the image

Didn't even know that haptic feedback wasn't available. I've been using Gboard since it became accessible on iOS. So far I am enjoying most of the beta.
Gboard doesn’t work on my 13 pro max

This is the first time I'm tempted to install the beta, iOS 16 just looks so good! I'm not a fan of the notifications getting less space than before but I'll probably get used to it... Thanks for the great video showing off the features Sam!

so many neat features. i did not know about the haptic keyboard. having the messages/music at the bottom makes it easier to navigate while riding my bike. not bad :)
its a shame the old clock font has been removed.
and also the lock icon.
Hopefully they will bring it back before the final public release 🙏🏻

Live Captions is a little underwhelming currently but a welcome addition, found under Accessibility > Live Captions (Beta). Doesn't work as well as the same function in Google Chrome on desktop.

First feature is wrong/incomplete, so I immediately dismissed the video completely. If you get thing wrong in the first 20seconds of the video, why watch the rest? Side unlock is not just a feature of ios16, it’s a feature os ios16 only available in iPhone 13 and 14.

regarding the 4th feature it is possible to also intelligently remove the background from videos as well. Just pause on a certain frame that you want and then long press, and viola
Should I get the beta on my iPhone 13 Pro? It’s my main phone and I don’t have any other older iPhone compatible with the beta. I want to download it but scared about the bugs. And I don’t have iCloud just yet.

Take tooooo much to time to type.
in photos while isolating the subject, instead of saving to notes, save to files, then from files export to camera roll. you can do this for now, at least until it becomes a feature in future later iOS16 versions. leave your feedback in apples feedback app and hopefully they’ll add this.

Ios16 is so funny againt Android 13. Iphone is a great phone but Android is amazing Computer and phone.
People keep calling them widgets on the Home Screen but I never see anyone interact with them.

Hi so ever since ios 15.5 my sound stops working every so often until I reboot my phone same with the haptics on the keyboard too. Any fix for this?

i dont get why people are writing on tiktok that ios is becoming android. i mean you can customise your lockscreen on android, but only with specific apps. also its rlly different to android, so it doesnt make sense.

I’m so excited but I didn’t get the beta version update on my iPhone 11 Pro.
To save the cutout, just long press then a pop up should appear. If no one has commented that yet.

Is CarPlay any different? They obviously had the big ticket multi-screen announcement for CarPlay, but those features require a new car, and those cars aren't even to be announced for a year and a half. Any new iOS 16 CarPlay features available now/September?
Haptic feedback is pretty cool. Love the new Lock Screen & notifications. Got my stock & WATCH widgets 24/7

I don't have iOS 16 so don't know if this will work, but try to make a shortcut that takes its input from the clipboard and saves it as an image. Then copy your image's subject and run the shortcut. If everything goes well, the cutout should save as an image into your library

Live Activities should include the stopwatch, timer, download notifications, and more!

Also I miss the volume slider while listening to music on the lock screen. that was very useful to see where my current volume is at and adjust it on the fly. where as now you have to either go into control center or change the volume using the physical buttons which isn’t a huge quirk, just a little inconvenient to me especially while working out. I like the smaller icon at the bottom but it wouldn’t add too much space on the screen to bring back the volume slider. I left my feedback at apple, hopefully this comes back in the public beta of iOS16. Let me know what you guys think

could of sworn iphone 3gs had haptic typing...
U can already save the objects as dedicated PNG's already. Just tap and hold the object until its highlighted and release the ringer. The object will now get that white animated outline and u can either copy or share it. Tap share to then save it in photos.
